He just posted a letter he got. They actually seemed to take the issue seriously including removal and an offer of compensation for any losses.
That’s a refreshing change
The only reason they offered compensation is because he's well known. How many small time content creators don't have the fame to cause such a reaction and are left high and dry?
I think unless they have demonstrated bad faith in the past, we should still give them the benefit of the doubt that this was an honest mistake though it raises some other concerns as to what the internal process is for green lighting this when they had worked with Jeff in the past?
