Informative killjoy: Humans cannot discern a supermoon from a regular moon purely by looking. If a supermoon looks big and bright to you it's probably because you read/heard it was a supermoon and that attuned expectations.
Most full moons look just as big and bright - clear night permitting anyway - and the horizon illusion happens regardless of Moon super-ness.
