This is two hours well spent. I am planning to read the manga for the first time and haven't seen the movie in a while, this is very tempting...

It's either/or. They aren't the same. Same themes, but the Manga has so much more going for it.

Like chemical cutthroat said, despite being the same basic story, they're wildly different experiences.

The manga has more detail, and a slightly different "vibe". The movie is more immersive, and feels like more of a thriller than the slow burn it the manga.

Definitely do both, they're amazing examples of their medium
