I downloaded the Inspector Gadget cartoon thinking it'd be great to watch.
Except I didn't realise that if you had a crummy youth, nostalgia just brings back all the fear you used to feel.
No more nostalgic stuff from childhood for me. Never occurred to me before that this is something that might happen.
Gratefully, that time is long ago now.
It's the Wonder Years for me.
I tried teenage mutant ninja turtles and the same thing happened.
I'm just going to leave it alone now.
