My cats are named after a tattoo, an encoding system and a movie character.

Heh, good guesses.
Maze (because I have a maze, actually a labyrinth, tattooed on my back and she's stripey).
Hex (short for hexadecimal, but the pagans I used to date preferred to think otherwise).
Ripley (you can probably extrapolate for this one).
