Why do they have an issue with that? Worst I can tell is that they might think it weakens genetics by passing on genes from people who would otherwise struggle to reproduce, therefore making the population more dependent on medical science. I can't really imagine the religious lot putting any stock in believing in natural selection though.
IVF involves throwing away some fertilized eggs, which can count as an abortion, which can count as murder.
