is this a YT - NewPipe arms race or we're just getting some random bugs?
it feels like an arms race, and it probably is
It's inevitable that youtube will go the way of twitter and reddit, closing down their API. I'm surprised it's taking them this long to start the process.
New Pipe is not using youtube API: https://newpipe.net/FAQ/download/#download-youtube-api They are just acting as a browser, that's why they can not forbid it legally.
