I thought so too, but the comics stopped being produced in '27, so I'm not sure that's right.

There's a bunch more with that date here. Maybe he did some more of them later on?

Maybe it was a special collaboration project (with Antifa?).

I wonder if it's even real. None of the other images when searching Google has any sort of similar date.

You mean the dates are wrong? That's probably on me for fetching the comics from Twitter lol. Feel free to correct anytime.

Turns out that

  • August Derleth (of Cthulhu fame) tracked down Condo in his retirement, according to The Capital Times of Madison, Wisconsin on Nov 28, 1948 Page 4 - see image below.
  • A Capital Times article on Wed, Jan 17, 1951 Page 12 says that Derleth planned to publish a collection of old and new comics.
  • Finally, The Wisconsin Historical Archives has "4 oversize folders" of "Pen and ink drawings, 1948-1949, 1953-1954, by cartoonist A.D. (Armundo Dreisbach) Condo, featuring the character Everett True." (but... I imagine you have to actually go to Wisconsin and convince them to let you see them...)
