There would need to be a vacancy or Congress would need to vote on the expansion of SCOTUS before there was a nomination.
However he can, and should, go on a District and Appeals judge seating spree until every last spot is filled.
I mean that was the rules. The president has unlimited power now.
Incorrect. The President has immunity from criminal convictions for official acts. That does not mean full control of the government.
He can’t seat more Justices. He’d have a better chance getting away with incarcerating a few of them.
So they do have full control provided you also have a branch of crazyvloyal enforcement units to threaten other officials into compliance.
Nah. More like a justice system corrupt enough to rule that it was an official act that deserves immunity.
That’s a distinction without a difference.
