At issue is the fact that Vance's wife, Usha Vance, is the daughter of Indian immigrants, which is leading some far-right influencers to be suspicious that he won't really be as tough on immigration as they hope.

She's pretty, so it doesn't matter.

I saw someone sharing a picture of her on Facebook the other day gushing about how beautiful she is (identifying her as "First Lady").

I almost responded, "The current First Lady has a PhD in English and continued her teaching position while her husband is in office. Why aren't we sharing her picture and celebrating her accomplishments?"

But what would be the point?
