Don't stick your dick in crazy.
When you’re young, this is sound advice. But, as you get older, you realize that everyone is crazy. The trick is finding the level of crazy that best fits with yours.
It's not a single axis. There are multiple dimensions of crazy, and you gotta find the ones that fit with yours.
