Our Republic now exports more resources to the Bloc than we import, primarily steel, produced in our iron mining and processing works east of the city center.
We also now produce most of our food and clothing domestically, and actually export a small percentage of textiles goods to the Bloc.
Sadly we have not achieved full autarky. Our pursuit of Juche Thought has been stiffed by our energy needs, our Republic produces no coal or oil as of yet, so our energy and heating fuel must be imported from the Bloc. However our technical university is working to develop nuclear energy (if I could only figure out the fucking tech tree!). Also everything is shipped by truck and bus because I can't figure out how to get trams and trains to work!

find raw resource -> process raw resource (-> process refined resource)path, although the nuclear one is longer and weirder because you have to research the concept of radioactive stuff, then survey for uranium, then learn how to oxidize uranium, then learn how to enrich that, and then learn how to make fuel rods from that, and only then can you research how to make nuclear power plants although honestly just selling the fuel rods is probably better because they're absurdly valuable on their own to the point that I think they may actually be more valuable than the power they can generate.
