Are they really meant to be Montes? ๐Ÿฅบ Doesn't matter I'd still give them a go. Well done ๐Ÿ‘

I'm not much of a baker, I made a few errors. Shredded instead of granular dessicated coconut being a big one. Turns out I used coconut flour instead of white, I found the label tucked away inside the jar. But there's no unmixing stuff so I've got this batch of maybe carlos.

Baking is a science. I'm not a scientist. I applaud anyone who gives it a go. ๐Ÿ‘

If that is true I take the mad scientist approach most of the time and make things up as I go. It usually gives a pretty good result. If you want something really specific or finicky (like a sponge cake) you need to be very precise about everything, but most baking is actually pretty forgiving once you've learned the basic techniques.

True but there's still a part of me that goes I hope it works I hope it works I hope it works ๐Ÿคž

Tried one. They're tasty, but they're a chewing commitment. Should have used more lemon zest too.

I think they look better stacked up. The chewiness is stopping me from picking at them so maybe it's a boon.
