I don't know what copehard or who Pete Smith is, but I'm pretty sure the alarm tones and voices are standardised across Australia. It's the same one that the occasional uni and shopping centre evacuation videos posted on r/Melbourne had, and I'm pretty sure it's the same one that was in the Bondi junction videos

It's the old timie radio advertising voice. Clear and precise. John Deeks has a similar way.

Sure. The commercials you linked predate me by longer than I've been alive, and in any case I don't pay much attention to people who are in commercials

the dude was pretty ubiquitous in the 80's / 90's. Even did a slew of stuff for Micallef - you couldn't avoid him. He was everywhere. everywhere.
