If you have the cash and/or machine for Elden Ring, I'd say just jump to it. Playing a FromSoft game with really active multiplayer is a cool experience.

And you don't need a crazy rig to run it! I researched gfx options for the game and it's surprisingly well optimized, i can play with most settings on high on a gtx 1070 and i get probably 45 fps on average.

and seconded about the multiplayer, it's fun to pop a co-op summon sign when i'm bored and see what i get summoned into.

I was running it just fine in my 480. Had to drop some settings though.

From what I read it's mostly the grass that does it, also textures can at a higher level (high and above). Most of the other settings shouldn't be that impactful.
