The space between voice and in is just so that it looks like an explanation point is in between.

I totally feel that. I used Swiftkey for like 7 years until Microsoft bought them out because everything just SUCKED after that. Predictions, autocorrect, the whole nine yards. I had to drag my sorry ass back to Gboard because it at least autocorrected things better but man do I miss the height of Swiftkey prediction.
