IRS hold times are criminally long. "30-60 minutes" is what the IVR will say, but you'll likely be waiting longer.
Combine that with the fact that they're only taking calls Monday-Friday, and that means that if you're working class (the only people that are actually taxed), you'll be lucky to get through on one of your lunch breaks for that week. Otherwise, you're screwed.
