Sure, but something tells me the average non-american living in a non-warzone will ever need a CAT tourniquet in their lifetime
Most people will never use CPR, a heimlich, defibrillator, narcan or CAT. However, successful use of any of these will safe a life. Everyone should know how to use those things.
We got discouraged from doing the heimlich at our first aid training and got taught a different thing that I have forgotten
