Good news from the dentist - nothing obvious (and therefore expensive) showed up on the x-ray he took. Therefore it's either a post COVID toothache (which apparently is a thing) a sinus thing or something irritating the gum. He's given me antibiotics and we'll see how we go.

That’s a relief! I used to get toothaches from sinus issues, and they went away when the sinus thing got better. Usually just at the point where I’d make a dental appt to fix the ‘problem’ tooth.
