First Oktoberfest here in YVR, not super impressed with the amount of Oktoberfest events coming but this one looks promising. Are you going? Ever been before?

When standing, do you generally hold onto the bars or the loop handles attached to the bars? What did you do this morning if you were on one?

E: Sounds like bars are the popular option here too, for many reasons. Hygiene was a big one I hadn't initially considered. Thanks for answering, everyone!

Personally I think Vancouver's residential areas desperately need more commercial spaces to make communities more walkable. Here's your chance to have your say.

The Vancouver Aquarium was bought up by a for profit American entertainment company a few years ago. Since then there have been disagreements with the nonprofit rescue & rehab branch, with the aquarium wanting to take over some things run by the MMR (I'll find the post about it later)

Having a clear distinction between the two would be great news
