I'm really confused how Deborah Meaden didn't know how a toaster worked, even with an aga - has she never seen a Tom and Jerry cartoon!?

Kojey Radical is clearly a fan and should have come on the main show, and I was wrong to be worried that having the child Lenny Rush on would take off the edge (even though I think the did self-censor a little).

Do you watch any of the other Taskmaster versions?

We watch the UK one (of course), plus the NZ one in my house (their second series is brilliant). I tried the US one but I'm not sure I even got through the first episode.

I've heard that the Norwegian (or was it the Danish?) Taskmaster was good but I haven't tried yet. There's quite a few to chose from now, too many for me to try myself.

I am really hoping they'd have what happened with the lunatics team's spa treatment! I assume it's going to be basically a torture chamber given Alex's at the mercy of the two most unhinged contestants in the history of this series!

Season Final 🥳

Only just saw the announcement on YouTube.

In Fern Brady's song, she says John Kearns is obsequious and Dara is an imbecile. But, then when they talk about it in the studio she says John isn't obsequious but Dara is. So then why did she write the song that way?

My thought was: if she calls Dara obsequious, then she has to call John an imbecile*. At the time she still didn't know that John had been purposefully trying to lose in the team task. Maybe she suspected he had genuine cognitive impairments, and it wouldn't be ok to joke about it?

(*There were also 2 other teammates, and the 2 hosts that she could have substituted into that line. My thinking here is that, since she had already worked with 2 of the teammates, she felt it was right for the song that they were the ones to get dissed individually.)

In both episodes to this point there has been a mention of a secret task. Can't wait to see who finds it and what it is. It's clearly smth they're building up so it's probably gonna come in the final 2 episodes. Any guesses as to what it could be??

I was just waiting for someone to pop it and carry it to the water with no issues. It seems like such a basic solution??
