@apps is it possible to subscribe to the timelin of a #Lemmy account (like @startrek with a lot of postings per day) using #Fedilab without having those postings flooding my personal timeline?

I'm worried to flood my personal timeline and on the other hand it is possible to put an instances timeline on a list without directly following it.

I mean, we all know that's what it is, but I'm pretty sure that's the first time they've said it straight out in universe. And then the plot reminds of it several times as that very thing is put in danger.

I'm wondering if anyone here has managed to purchase quality prints of any of the matte paintings featured in star trek? I've done a bit of searching online without much luck. I'm finally living in a place where I can hang things on the wall and thought it would be nice to have some framed matte paintings of Bajor, Cardassia and maybe a couple of other worlds. Any help appreciated thanks.

I prefer to use this instance as my primary, but I've noticed a lot of missing comments/votes/etc on posts from other instances. I'll switch between this account and one on lemmy.world or Lemm.ee and notice that I'm not seeing all the activity. Does anyone know why?

Maybe a syncing issue? Are we lower on the syncing totem pole because were smaller or something? It mostly seems to happen with this account and not others.

Just about to finish TNG Season 2, I only watched the odd episode on television in the 90's and ST: Enterprise is the only complete series I have binged.

So I saw Measure of a Man which was great, in addition to that one, what episodes should I look forward to?

I'm personally a big fan of the late TMP designs like the Excelsior and Centaur, what do you guys like?

Be gentle ... I don't do this sort of thing often, but I figured I could waste an hour or two in Premiere Elements to see what I could cobble together.

I have a few, my fav is Jessie Gender, who gives insightful reviews but doesnt shy away from criticism of Trek. I also like how she looks at things from a gender critical angle, which is something few peoppe think about. Sean Ferrick is another cool one, as are the guys from Trekyards who are more focussed on tech and ships. Who else should I look up on?

Is the darkspace theme something that comes packaged with Lemmy or something the server admins are throwing together? I love where it's going but its in need of some love.. there's nothing to make the posts readable against the background.
