You ever eat or drink something so awful, it somehow mis-calibrates your tongue, and makes everything you consume afterward taste slightly nasty too? That happened to me once after drinking a Bang Miami Cola. It was so acrid and gross it made the taste of Coke Zero (which I normally enjoy) also taste disgusting for several days. Recently, the same thing happened after I ate a package of sugar-lite "Sour Patch Buddies." They were so bad they're still haunting my tongue a day later, cursing everything I put in my mouth that's sweet (or Nutrasweet) with a faint yet rancid aftertaste. Curse you and your disgustingness, Sour Patch Buddies! You are the gummi bears from hell!
