My favorite Pokémon is Skuntank, so of course it's my favorite poison type Pokémon. I saw this fan artwork of this skunk Pokémon online and then it quickly became my favorite Pokémon. I used it a lot in various Pokémon games since. Its most interesting move is Flamethrower, it's impressive to learn a fire type move like that. I like how it's a skunk Pokémon with a tail that can shoot out poisonous projectiles, flames, and skunk spray like a real tank.

Its face looks kinda like a cat, which may be related to the fact that skunks are sometimes called polecats. But its facial cheeks are tan and looks like a pair of buttocks, it somehow also has a butt chin, and also when you look at it from below, it still looks like a butt. Pretty cool.

It also got a cool card that shows a Skuntank den. https://m.archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/a/a7/SkuntankVSilverTempest181.jpg

Unfortunately it hasn't appeared much in the anime series - I wish a protagonist had a Skuntank as a major party member. It would be cool to see.

Do you have any more wallpapers that portray Pokémon in nature like the one I mentioned? I have a couple more like the one I showed.

I like how cool this Grumpig card from Boundries Crossed looks. It has a Grumpig apparently bouncing over a volcano! How exciting. Looks like this Grumpig is a real Explorer!

Mine is Grumpig. I like this psychic pig with elements of that "Pearls before Swine" quote from the Christian Bible that I was named after. It wears a lot of pearls on itself, and it's a good dancer. The abilities it has imply that it's a foodie species that goes at its own whims and tries to set its own pace for life.

I don't have a switch but my friend does and although she loves the Pokémon tcg she's never played a Pokémon video game so I'm looking at getting her a Pokémon game to play, any advice appreciated

I recorded my first sleep session and worked through all the tutorials in Pokémon sleep last night and this morning. The basic framework is very cute.

  • You place your phone (or Pokémon Go+ Plus) on your mattress while you sleep. The screen dims, but the phone stays awake all night unless you’re using a PG+P.
  • You generate currency based on the percentage of optimal sleep that you record. For an adult, that is 8 hours. So if you sleep 4 hours, you will earn 50 sleep points.
  • While sleeping, you attract Pokémon who join you while sleeping. I had 5 sleep in my camp. You record the sleeping Pokémon into your Dex.
  • You can interact with these Pokémon and give them biscuits, which increases friendship. When you max friendship, you “catch” them and can use them as a helper in the future. Helpers gather cooking ingredients and persist on your main screen.
  • During the day, your pikachu and helper Pokémon gather berries and cooking ingredients. You can feed these berries and cooked dishes to a snorlax, which gets stronger each day.
  • You get a new snorlax every Monday and must start strengthening it from scratch. The stronger it is, the more sleeping Pokémon it can attract and the more rare those Pokémons’ sleep styles you will see.
  • There is a $10 monthly pass that gives you bonus currency, access to a shop with cheaper prices and exclusive items, and access to all of your sleeping data. Otherwise, you can only see the last 30 days of data.

It’s a cute idea and I’ve been struggling with sleep, so I’m going to try to use it for at least a month and see how I like it. Have you used it yet? What are your thoughts?

Mine is Pokemon HGSS (the amount of content is mindboggling), Pokemon Platinum (grandest Pokemon experience) and Pokemon Black 2/White 2 (most fun and unique playthrough). I'm also looking forward to buying Legends: Arceus on the Switch, have heard many great things about it!

Basically everything I know is that the episode is about Ash and company being convinced by Team Rocket to take care of their Pokémon while they are away. At the end it turns out to be a hoax.

Some more info:

  1. It was aired on Cartoon Network Latin America between 2017-2018
  2. CN on Latin America was premiering 3+ year old episodes at that point

I love the alt art! You'd need some strategy to pay this card well!

What do you guys think? TCG Players, how would you use this card?

As a gen One'er, i will always have a soft spot for 2d, but i don't think the 3d games are as horrible as most say (except SwSh).

As not everyone has Pokemon home, would there be an interest in a trade board like on the ~~hellsite~~ previous site we came from?

Or with the eventual inclusion of tabs, would it be better to host (most) content here

I recently got Pokemon Home and let me just say I love the continuity it provides. Not only can I play with nostalgic teams, but the trade's on offer are the most busted things Ive seen in a long while. Requesting a lv 91-100 Pharaoh/La Reine trim Furfrou for a Kubfu? Sure that sucks, as there is no way to train one in the current gen, requiring a Pokemon bank enabled DS or a literal trip to another country, but its a legendary, so I kinda get it. But all that for a lv 5 Alolan Rattata? I feel like I'm back in the middle-school cafeteria getting fucked on trades again. Thanks Pokemon Home.

"* * * *" 4/5 stars. it loses a point because i haven't figured out how to get my box to actually be sorted by National Dex order for real and not just a search filter

I tagged it as spoilerish because of the image.

Pokemon Legends Arceus was the first Pokemon I truly enjoyed since a long time... It kept me engaged even after I finished the main story line. Completing the Pokedex to have the proper ending was a good idea in my opinion. It really motivated me.

That being said, I must thanks the GTS for allowing me to skip the boring sidequests and grind (looking at you, Spiritomb).

Well, in the end, I wanted to post that to mark the fact that I reconciliated with Pokemon (even thought there is much to do to restore the image of this legendary saga).

I’ve never watched pokemon nor played the games, so I chose now is better then ever to start.

I’m gonna post weekly or so about my progress through the games, starting with blue. No cheats.

So far I just defeated Brock and gave my Rattata Bide. I’m hunting for pokemon to replace my sucky Catterly with.

My starter was bulbasuar. I would like to post my saves but idk if mods will allow me

For me it's definitely gen 4 (heartgold and platinum are just. top tier), but gen 5 is really close. Really polished and challenging games all around

I also think gen 7 is pretty underrated, especially USUM which got a bit of hate for being too similar to Sun and Moon. Which is kinda true...but I think the end result was pretty good all things considered.
