Not sure what happened, but Guzzlord was still there when I went to feed him some berries.

I am working on getting all of Snackwell's snacks, and need to do some group BBQs. Anyone interested in doing some? (Not looking to do them right this minute, but over this coming weekend for sure.)

I tested the claim of Vaporeon's impressive Base Stats for HP and access to Acid Armor. Ungodly defense stat+high HP pool+Acid Armor means it can take pounding, all day and still not faint.

I wasn't planning to use Vaporeon against water types because I have Raichu and Vaporeon doesn't have any physical attacks learned. Thankfully Vappy got lucky freeze after tanking a crit.

This is my first time playing Pokemon blue in +10 years. Some months ago I played through Gen 2 the first time and because I never had tried Eeveelutions before so I caught/bred them all in silver.

Because I found Vaporeon's move set fun to play in silver it was my carry in gen 3 and now in gen 1. Espeon is good as well because of the psychic type. I swear it's not ~~only~~ because of the memes!

Typical Pokémon Company move to just discontinue the service without a replacement and not even giving an advance warning of the app being removed...

The BP collection goes by far faster in a group since it is all shared. If anyone is interested, we can set up a time that works for everyone to get together and do this. The more the merrier and there is space for 3 other people, so don't be shy. Let's grind this out as fast as possible!

Edit: In Scarlet or Violet.

Edit 2: there are 2 spots left, feel free to leave a comment to join into the group!

It may take a while to load because it is a huge list and I went a bit overboard with the design ^^°

Everything on this list is up for trade, but I'm not super picky about what I get in return. Sure it would be cool to get a few Aprimons that I don't yet have, but I'm also willing to give these away for free in reasonable numbers ;) If you're interested in any of these, just let me know! I'm usually online once a day and don't need much time to generate a few breedjects.

All of these are on Pokémon Sword and I do not own a smartphone, so all trades would have to be direct trades via the Y-Com menu within the SwoSh/BDSP generation (not directly compatible with SV, sorry). Keep in mind that you need a Nintendo Online Subscription to trade this way, and and active internet connection (WiFi). If you do not have a Nintendo Online Subscription, then you can just activate the 7 day free trial in the Nintendo Eshop instead. It may expire after a week but does not seem to have any other restrictions.

PS: Direct messages between different instances don't always work, so please just comment here instead of trying to reach me via DM, as I may not get your message.

I did not realize that Teal Mask had a Hisuian Zorua (and a deadline to obtain it) and i waited to long to purchase it. If anyone has an extra they would not mind trading please let me know and what you may want (i have some extra Iron Valiants, but none are adamant at the moment).

I beat pokémon blue (twice) (discuss.tchncs.de)
submitted 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago) by BitterSweet@discuss.tchncs.de to c/pokemon@lemmy.ml

After a while of casual play, I finally got through pokémon blue. I do admit I needed some help with the cave puzzles, so I had the IGN maps open for those.

I played in the Miyoo Mini Plus with OnionOS, and upon winning when I hit the screenshot keybind… I messed up and loaded a previous save which was at the start of the elite four.

So I beat the elite four TWICE xD.

Here's the winning lineup:

  • Haunter (Dream Eater abuse)
  • Jolteon
  • Venomoth (caught in the caves outside lol)
  • Dratini (Toxic + Wrap combo)
  • Dewgong

I spent a about two days grinding levels in the caves outside to get all my pokémon up to level 45-48

edit: On to Pokemon silver!!

I haven’t grabbed the DLC yet but I am considering it. If you’ve purchased Teal Mask, do you think it’s worth it? I was waiting for reviews to come in for Disk before I bought it.
