I’ll be using gen 4 and below as older since that’s what I’m used to,

I have Platinum and Emerald and I’ve been wanting to play through them to get to the end game to play the battle tower or equivalent since their online servers are shut down (or non existent with the GBA)

I guess I’m just looking for tips and a discussion as to how everyone plays their Pokémon game. I find that whenever I play through any Pokémon game, with the exp. share shared or not, I always over level one Pokémon. Not too much, at least not as bad as when I was a kid, but in my emerald game it got to the point where I had a grovyle in the second gym and my other three Pokémon were level 10 below. How do you maintain a balance? Again, I’m not a new player, I’ve been playing Pokémon for almost all my life and I’m 24, however I’ve always been bad at party management type games and I’ve been wanting your opinions/discussions on this topic.

A friend's son wants some cards... here (SEA), they are all (or mostly) fake. So, another friend is coming back from Japan soon and went to a couple of stores... they sell out instantly in the morning apparently. Is this normal? Are there any recommended sites for getting boosters and whatnot?

Somewhere yesterday or the day before I saw an announcement about new 7* raids coming to S&V this weekend. I can no longer find where i saw this sadly. I thought it was in an email from the Pokemon Company.

Anyone have info? And i guess it is finally time to get serious in my Violet game.

It looks like Voltorb always has levitate and is immune to Ground types.

Does this mean he has no weakness? Why does electricity only have 1 weakness?

Specifically - A list of episodes that actually matter, because there are over one thousand episodes in the Pokémon Anime, and most of those are a fat load of nothing. -- I've been wanting to watch the Anime (like, beyond the first two seasons I'm nostalgic for), but I don't wanna slog through 740 episodes of nothing for the 260-ish episodes where something (I.E.: A major character appearance, a gym battle, a new pokémon caught, etc) actually happens.

I did a google search and found an "Anime Filler List", but that one was concerned with marking episodes as 'manga canon', which is like... Isn't the Pokémon manga a completely separate thing? Plus, I intensely doubt all those episodes are actually relevant.

I wanted to collect my unique open packs (i mean exactly one pack per art displayed on the sets I open).

What would be a proper way to do this? i filled a page of my binder, and already I can see problems arising after filling more.

What would be a better way? i am just putting the open packs in the pockets. Should I cut the packs to keep the art only?

While I am still a beginner in collecting, the commons pile is getting quite large!

I wanted to get a couple of these tins, they look cool. But how many common can they hold?

As they have only two packs inside I fear too few.

But maybe the question of "how many" it's actually quite bad. Just having a picture from the side can actually say much.

I first started playing Violet a month and a half ago. A couple weeks into playing my wife expressed interest in playing too. So I got a copy of Scarlet for her. Since I was so far ahead of her (both in the actual game and knowledge of the games, I have been playing since LG/FR, while she has only played GO) I decided to take a break from Violet to finally play Shield. I purchased it when it came out but never left the starting town.

I have now beaten Shield and use the raids there to level my Pokémon in Violet. In Violet I have beaten all of the gyms, all of the Titans, and just have 1 more Star Base. When trying to join a Tera raid I can only join random ones, the ones on be board always say I failed to join. But doing the random raids I end up with so many 1*-3*s. When I am looking for raids I am having the same issue, they are all lower.

Even before I became the champion in Shield it was faster to level by transferring my Pokémon.

I have played most Pokemon games, but I am deciding between Pokemon Sun/Moon/Ultra and Brilliant Diamond.

I have never played either of these games not even their original versions. What do you think?

Additionally, is Sun/Moon good or is the Ultra version better?

This game is a lot more involved than I thought it would be. When it comes to Snorlax, should I prioritize a team that gives ingredients to cook for his levels? Or the berries he likes? So far the highest I have gotten Snorlax is Ultra 5.

So basically my last post here was about trying to find a specific XYZ episode. Today I realize it might have been from Sun and Moon and that I was wrong when I said CN was premiering 3 year old episodes. Anyways:

Episode is about Team Rocket asking Ash to put his Pikachu into some sort of daycare, that is in the middle of the forest. At the end it's a hoax.

I'm not sure if it was from XYZ or Sun and Moon and I don't remember which people were with Ash.
