I am looking for Mac games, and in the past it was not so hard, but there seems to be none out there. I know Macs "aren't for gaming" but there are a ton of games that are native on Mac, and I am looking for those ones everywhere, but all the sites in the Megathread and Wiki, etc are all PC games. Am I missing a hidden gem of a site that has Mac games??

I recommended a safe website (from the direct download post on /r/piracy) to a friend. I told him to use Katfile downloads bc when I used it and downloaded like 70gbs of games (many, many separate parts/downloads), I didn’t have to wait in between downloads.

It’s been a 10 days since then, and one friend tried it out today. He showed me that Katfile now made everyone wait 2 hours in between downloads, myself included once I went to test it.

I just want to know, did I somehow get lucky that one time or was Katfiles like that a bit ago and my friends just missed out?

Are there any direct download sites that accept uploads? I'm not able to torrent for long periods due to limited storage space. I upload books pretty regularly, but I don't know of a place to do that for movies/shows. I'm very familiar with archive.org, but I don't know the ends and outs with uploading when it comes to copyright. I obviously don't want it to be taken down.

Apologies if this is a basic question, but I am curious to know what I am missing out on by not having access to private torrents? I have been able to find everything I wanted using public ones.

Hello, just downloaded Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain from Dodi and Fit Girl Repacks

When trying to launch the game, i got this error

unable to load library steamclient64.dll

I've tried to copy steamclient64.dll from another installation, and got another error

cannot find steam_emu.ini ( even though the file already exists )

Currently running 6.3.5-gentoo-dist, with Lutris version 0.5.12

Got the same behavior when using FitGirl-Repacks and from DODI Repacks

Hardware:

• CPU: Intel i7 7-6700 (8) @ 4.000GHz
• GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
• Ram: 15933MiB
• Using X server, with KDE Plasma

I'm not sure how many of you here use Linux for gaming, but there might be someone who can help me.

With my friends, we play a few games that, based on the place I'm writing in, are assumed to be pirated copies. We use something called an "Online fix" for Steam, which tricks it into thinking we're playing a different game in order to access its API and play multiplayer together.

How do I actually do this under Linux? I use Bottles, which allows me to play Windows games. I've installed a Windows version of Steam through it, and it works quite poorly, but it gets the job done (or rather, it used to). Basically, I just have to start it up to be able to play. The problem arose recently when Valve released a new update that significantly changed the Steam UI.

After the update was applied, I encountered several issues:

• When Steam starts, a strange symbol appears on the screen, which stays on top of every window or application, and it's quite annoying.
• Steam itself started crashing. And when that happens, the game crashes logically as well.

Before the update, I had no problems, and now I don't know what to do. To play these particular games, I need to have Steam running. If I run the native Linux version, it works, but the game can't detect that Steam is running since it's not actually inside the Wine container.

EDIT: I think I found a solution for now. Adding -vgui will launch the old Steam UI.

Do any non-Sonarr TV show managers like SickChill, SickBeard, SickRage, etc support downloading shows for use with sabnzbd with non-english audio?

I'm using usenet in my setup, and am trying to download la casa de papel in Spanish, which saw an english release as money heist. I can see on my indexer's website that the correct files are there under tv-foreign, though sonarr cannot find them, even with the foreign category enabled. Seems like this is a known issue in Sonarr since 2015 https://github.com/Sonarr/Sonarr/issues/269 .

I love QxR's uploads but they tend to not offer 4k WEB versions, only 4k Blu-Ray. So if there's a movie without a blu-ray release (for example some Netflix produced movies) QxR only offers 1080p versions. What uploader/group with similar quality and size do you recommend for 4k WEB releases?

Currently subscribe to a couple of Plex shares after getting tired of running my own server. This works well for the most part but I'm at the mercy of their infrastructure if anything stops working.

I subscribe to 2 providers for redundancy purposes as they have downtime a lot so it's more costly than I'd like but still cheaper than running my own and way less time consuming. Not convinced it's the best or most modern way to pirate / stream.

I've read about real-debrid and stremio or other apps. Sounds like torrents and having to wade through low quality releases?

What do you seasoned scurvy dogs use?

Edit 2: Well I'll be damned. An extremely knowledgeable and kind stranger just reverse-engineered the whole thing and poured it into a python script. And it's only Monday. See comments for the script.

I’m trying to get the downloaded audio out of an iOS app, but I struggle because the information I can find is mostly rather old, needs some additional software I need to pay for, etc. The content is downloaded post installing the app, so simply accessing the IPA doesn’t help.

I have this app called naturespace (see naturespace.org), it’s an app that has really good recordings of rain, thunderstorms, etc. In my opinion those recordings are far better than anything I’ve heard so far.

Now, I did pay for the content, but the app hasn’t been updated for years now, and there’s also been no new content for years as well. I wrote to the owners but didn’t get any response. I guess you could consider it abandoned at this point.

Since I fear that anytime soon the app stops working, I’d like to save that content.

I’m a bit tech savvy, I can work with CLI and such, but I’m not a professional coder or hacker, any help is appreciated.

Has anyone used this? I haven't seen it recommended before in the typical arr stack and it seems like its infinitely more useful for those who are trying to easily maintain ratio on private trackers.

What is an indexer exactly? I noticed that some are public and some are private. Are private indexers paid?

I do not know which ones to choose so any help would be appreciated.

I've tried googling, nothing I'm finding is working.

I updated qBittorrent, updated Python, tried deleting the engine folder files and restarting. Everytime I try to add new search files from here it says not supported.

I try clicking check for updates and a bunch of popups appear saying "Couldn't install "(search plugin name)" search engine plugin. Plugin is not supported."

The execution log says both "not supported" and "plugin outdated, updating to version x.xxx"

I'm at a loss here.

Pretty self-explanatory but the idea is to combine the "share" logo with the crossbones. The message is peers 2 peers, from many to many, sharing is caring, but the deisgn still recalls the awesome pirate flag.
