Currently using, based on an average of 5 torrents at a time (fairly arbitrary but the default limits were too restricting)

  • Global 1500
  • Conn/Torrent 300
  • Global up 150
  • Up/Torrent 30
  • Max up/down 20000KiB/s
  • Using both TCP and uTP
  • DHT/PeX on
  • Require encryption
  • Port forwarding presumably set up fine

Read somewhere that too many upload slots would wear out my drive faster, but aside from that concern I don't know where to look for optimizing this

Sitting at anywhere between 1-10 MiB/s avg upload atm

I bought a Nokia Receiver 6000 for 20 euro and then i noticed that the recording and timeshifting feature is locked under a 19,90 euro DLC to download from https://streamview.com/it/Recording-Software-Receiver-6000/SW10011

This kind of stuff can be pirated or it's too niche?

TLDR can the *arr stack be setup to move the completed files to another server?

Before I potentially waste many hours trying to get this setup, need a bit of advice.

Been old school for a couple of decades. Running a Linux box on bare metal with a torrent client. Client gets downloads from a RSS feed and when completed, I manually copy them to my Linux server (Big JBOD), and use filebot to rename and move them to the various directories.

Been interested in switching to something more automated for a while and want to give sonarr etc. a go.

I already have a proxmox box running a few VMs so was thinking of setting up docker on there with the various sonarr, radarr, etc. and then have the completed files moved over to my linux server. The server was built around 2010 and great for streaming but I think running docker and everything else would kill it.

It is possible to set it up so that when the download is finished on the docker box, it's copied across to the server?

All the guides I've read suggest having the docker stack on the same box as the server but I'm reluctant because if it's age.

I've been looking at Lidarr for when I finish transferring my media server to a new system this month, what I am unsure is how difficult it would be to downgrade my 650 FLAC album library down to 320kbps.

It was great locally, but now most of my listening is remote via Plex (Plexamp/Symfonium) and I have found 320kbps albums to be more seamless than FLAC for my usecase with little difference in quality.

I have yet to add my music library to any of my family members accounts as I am unsure how they would listen to it without plexamp and I'm still considering their options.

The main thing is I was hoping Lidarr could get me a downgraded copy to replace all my library with, does anyone have any experience in this matter?

I know that Radarr/Sonarr don't like downgrading versions automatically.

Spotilife doesnt work.

Spotify++ doesnt work.

I think the licenses have been all revoked by now.

Is there any other way to acquire the cracked version of spotify premium on IOS 15.7?

Seeing as Wednesday seems to be literal piracy day around here, here's a couple of classic videos on how to be a pirate.

Hey, so I came across a post where people were talking about playing nfs unbound and Dead space remake by bypassing denuvo using denuvo tokens. They were talking about some method by anadius from cs.rin.ru. I tried searching for it in the forum but couldn't find anything. Can someone tell me more about this or atleast provide me a link where I could learn more about it.

Im setting up Sonarr right now on my seedbox, however it isn't importing the shows where the torrent is a box set. i.e. all of the seasons contained in one folder. But it did import all other shows where the seasons were in separate folders. How can I fix this ?

Slightly older (2021) article I found while searching for this place. It pretty much says what we’ve all been saying.

Rarbg actually let me know of new releases quicker than any official site. It's the thing I miss the most about it. Hoping there's something similar.

I've been using StreamQ for 3 months now and it's hit n' miss when it wants to work and not cause technical errors. Live TV works most of the time but tv series or movies are absolute pain. Constant buffering and play back error or episodes missing. The only reason I stayed this long because no other IPTV service I used has been good - having to download apps or playlist is not working etc.

StreamQ support utter useless telling me to switch vpn, get vpn, check my connection all this shit when it's not me. I was trying to watch Lost the TV show and none of the episodes work whereas other TV shows did. They blame my VPN for blocking the links. Like wtf am I suppose to do? Bullshit service.

Please someone recommend a IPTV app with legit reviews or reputable site to see them. No fake sellers plz.

Thanks.

I've been using my own streaming app for the past few years now.

I decided to rock my own thing because of the following reasons. Since many of the existing ones are closed source, you never know what data is collected. Kodi is fine, but I prefer nice UIs to browse my favorite content. And lastly, I'm a passionate developer.

The app consists of 3 parts:

  • the TV app itself
  • a backend service to fetch data from trakt/tmdb
  • a backend service for openscrapers (real debrid)
  • external player of choice (nova, vlc, ...)

To get it up and running, you'd need to run the two backend services on your own server and install an external player like Nova, since it doesn't provide a built-in player.

Would you guys be interested in it so I make my repos publicly available?

I just want to share this resource in case people didn't know it. It describes itself as the world’s largest open-source open-data library. And Includes Sci-Hub, Library Genesis, Z-Library, and more.

Pretty self explanatory but if you are going to continue to use reddit on mobile, switch to one of these options. You will need to have to create your own api key but that is easy to do.

Brief Guide for Sync: https://archive.is/K6OXB

As pirates we are known to adapt to rough seas. There are always methods for us to keep accessing content and reddit isn’t going to be able to stop us.

https://www.reddit.com/prefs/apps

I recommend creating a throwaway account for this. Sign up as a developer at the above link and then use the key you get from it.

A lot has happened since the reddit protests and the actual subreddit is completely unusable now. What will happen to the mods that were originally updating the megathread, because that thing is literally my life at this point and with increasing actions being taken by corporates to stop piracy, how long do we have on the current links and stuff in the megathread. Don't want to spook anyone just want to know whether we can continue referring to the megathread or is there an alternative I don't know about.

The first time I saw the Matrix, it was a pirated copy that was a final cut except it was missing all of the licensed music tracks. So all the dialog, foley, and even the original orchestral soundtrack were in place, but none of the tracks licensed from other artists/bands. This meant the nightclub at the beginning was a bunch of people dancing to nothing, and the lobby shootout was just gunshots and shattering concrete, and the end was just the sound of Neo flying into the sky. Does anyone still have a copy of this anywhere? I always assumed it was some kind of internal leak. The video quality was garbage, but I've love to see this cut again, see what holds up and what is worse.

Just wondering if I should head to r/piracy and download all the links and everything before it's too late.

Also, is this community on Lemmy likely to stay alive? If that's the case and the content is updated here, I'm a happy man

Arghhh Me Hearties!

My receiver knowledge is about 10 years out of date so hoping for a bit of advice. I am currently running a Vu+ Duo2 and an Edision OS mio+ 4K UHD. The Edision was significantly cheaper yet runs a LOT faster than the more expensive Vu+.

So, my question is simple. Without considering budget, what is the best linux receiver with a terrestrial tuner which will run BlackHole currently? I am ideally after something with a front LCD screen for picons, program info, etc. Above all, I would like it to run 4K and want it to be as fast as possible.

The obvious choice is the Vu+ Uno4kSE. Anything better out there?

Thanks in advance.

I have to install Helios 3rd party add on right? How do I do that exactly?

I've tried asking there, but whenever I post my messages get removed so hopefully I can get some help here. I am trying to make a "not crack" for Fifa 23. I've obtained a denuvo ticket from one of the uploaders, and added it to my anadius.cfg file. I then changed fifa23_fixed.exe to fifa23.exe that was also uploaded there, removing the original exe file, but that didn't work as it only opened the EA launcher and nothing else. I then tried the live editor injector, again, linked in the topic thread, and this time the EA launcher said something along the lines of you do not own this title. What am I doing wrong? What am I supposed to do?

Pirate streaming services (lemmy.dbzer0.com)

This is kind of a weird question, I understand, but why does every pirate streaming service seem exactly the same? Let me explain: I was looking through the r/Piracy megathread (via rentry.co) for alternatives to Soap2day, now that it's gone down, and I noticed most websites had almost identical interfaces, and seemingly identical search results. Does anyone know what's up with that...? It creeped me out a little, I won't lie. Sort of uncanny valley.

I also wanted to ask, what is the deal with Soap2day? I know soap2day.to is down. I've seen two websites thus far with the same name but different top-level domains, with totally different layouts and title blurbs. Are those like... legit? I don't know, I suppose it would be difficult to give me a virus via a streaming service (it's not like I go around clicking on ads) but, again, it's confusing and a little eerie.

EDIT: To be clear, I'm not looking for recommendations. I am also not looking for alternatives to anything, I can sort myself out. I'm asking, out of curiosity, if anyone knows why these websites look so similar, and what's going on with soap2day clones.

I have been pirating games for about a year now, and with the recent Netflix changes want to get into pirating TV and Movies as well. I have Kodi on my fire sticks, but streaming links are so unreliable.

I see on the Mega Thread there are plenty of sites to direct download shows and movies from, what sites from the mega thread do you all prefer?

Also, I get that I download them to my computer, but what service do you all use to get them on your TV? I have fire sticks on every TV, I think Plex is a free one that people used to use (and may still) but I don't really know how any of it works. Would love some experienced advice.

So I'm pretty recent to the high seas but I've seen a few posts now about "stop relying on your VPN" and "people that think VPNs will protect them are naive" and so on.

So since I believe knowledge is our greatest weapon/tool/super-power, can we get some answers regarding what exactly the doomsayers are getting at? ELI5 why VPNs wouldn't protect your anonymity.

Is it about logging? The country your end-point is in? Something more technical?

Ultimately I'd like to be fully armed in order to keep making the best choices for my fledgling ship as it navigates the vast, stormy seas.
