I was a happy Netflix user until 2018, before that I haven't really pirated any movies (with very rare exceptions) for almost a decade but I recently started again. I'm was doing my monthly budgeting and realized I was paying for too many subscription services. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Shudder, Disney+, Hulu and Crunchyroll. My family likes to watch different types of content that is distributed on many different platforms.

I was never subscribed to these many services until a couple years ago. I was thinking which service I should cancel when I realized I had the option to cancel all of them this entire time. I'm torrenting again and I started saving a considerate amount.

The only service I'm paying for is Spotify which I think it's fairly priced and offers all the music my family listens too (and it's convenient). All the competitors pretty much offer the same content and that's how streaming services should be.

I remember back in the day using eMule and BitChe (to look for torrents). Now I'm using Deluge as my torrent client and I I get my torrents from 1337x. What sites are you guys using?

I used to be a user of RARBG and in the wake of their absence, everyone seems to be suggesting Torrentgalaxy. Unfortunately, no matter how popular the torrent is, I haven't been able to download a single file from there. I have tried downloading the torrent file and using the magnet link, both will add the torrent to my client where it connects to the tracker and sees the peers but never connects to them. Magnet links and torrents from other providers work just fine. What am I missing?

You can probably block their user profile (https://1337x.to/user/username) but it doesnt filter out their results, just their profile when you click on it

This is the new 4tb ssd I am considering, since I am running out of space on my laptops internal storage. Considering its on sale for $300 instead of $900, I think its a deal but then again im not sure if the sale is because there are issues with this type of drive or something.

I'm just trying to get something I can play movies and some older games from on trips and such, so the small size is also appealing. There is a non-pro version of this that is slower, but it only offers up to 2tb for basically the same value per GB. Not sure if I'd even get the advertised 2000MB/s speeds since there's probably going to be a bottleneck somewhere else in my laptop, but thats not a deal breaker since I'm not sure when I would need that kind of speed.

If you guys have input on any other external ssd recommendations or setups you use I would also appreciate that.

Hypothetically, if someone were to download a Steam game from FG what's the best operating procedure to avoid being Steam banned? For example, I understand that steam_api.dll will often be quarantined by MS Defender because the game uses a modded version of that file. Once it's restored what steps would you take to proceed? Log out of steam? Disable internet access? Kill all Steam processes?

I recently updated my kobo devices and saw that there’s a Google drive option now for storing books elsewhere, for the time being I’ve just been using calibre and moving files over myself, would there be any concerns to host non drm ebooks from mam on a Google drive if I’m only sharing it with like one person.

Find the url source of the sticker, either use view source CTRL-F for "passthrough" or if you have a "sources" tab in your f12 debugger go to >media.discordapp.com/stickers to find all the stickers currently loaded on the page there. If you see animated files here download them (they will be in apng format just convert them to gif) but if you see still images take the url and replace passthrough=false to passthrough=true and then dl that and again convert from apng to gif

Bad news for many pirate streaming sites using that API endpoint. Copycat libraries for 2Embed are out there, so they may recover if the site owners bother to switch.

I tried pirating a game on my server earlier, but it was stuck at stalling, when 1337x says it’s got about 100 seeders. I pinged a site from my qbittorrent container and it worked, so it has internet, but it’s just not torrenting.

I also tried this with a random movie and it showed the same issue as well. The torrents I’m seeding also have 0 seeds/peers, which is what the attached image shows.

This is a lightweight alternative for Goldberg for the single purpose of unlocking DLCs. Just rename the game's steam_api.dll to steam_api.orig.dll, download steam_api.dll from releases and put it in place of the original steam_api.dll, the game will keep interacting with Steam as usual but it will consider all DLCs installed. Of course, you also need to download the actual DLC files from somewhere.

I've actually only tested it on Linux, so I'm curious to know if it works fine on Windows and MacOS.

While browsing around youtube, I found This video, which is about a 96 TB hard drive with "every game ever", and it really...looks like it has an absolute tonne of games. This is a link to the store, and it's mega pricey, but with everything pre-loaded, configured and organized, it kind of seems like a steal (har har).

I know there are other products like this around on Amazon, AliExpress and in and around the internet that have similar collections, but this one seems to be the real deal with regards to the sorting and organizing and setting up, which, frankly, I'm sure you guys all know takes a ton of time.
