Why do all the sites with Transformers Rise of Beasts have to the Slot lights annoyance?

With the torrent sites slow/stalled, any suggestions on seeing this UFC PPV tonight? I’m in the US

So I've been torrenting for over a year now (just in time to get attached to RARBG and get my heart broken) and mostly loving it. Now that I have access to actual high quality files I've been looking to improve my home setup. I was wondering what setups people have and what I should aspire to.

In the old days I would just stream with chromecast and then I got into the Laptop to HDMI cable setup but now I know the joys of a 5TB hard drive plugged directly into my TV and I don't think I'll ever go back. My TV isn't all that big (only 45") and it's only 1080p. It's an older TV too so it can't play HEVC files which limits what I can play in this setup. I'd love to be able to access the 4k HDR content out there. Does anyone have any advice on what kind of TVs are out there that would work well with this or other potential setups?

I know dlandroid.com , however not all apps are there. Anyone have better source?

I am following the linked guide for protonvpn to try to get soulseek to work and the soulseek port test tool keeps on saying the port is closed. However when I run natpmpc it seems to be successful - anyone have ideas how to get it up and running?

People who don't care that they are being spied on/ having their data harvested by facebook, instagram, whatsapp, google, amazon, oracle etc... are the same ones who pirate without a vpn or i2p. I can't stand this "so what if they have my data?" attitude. You ask anyone if they would feel comfortable leaving their car unlocked in town, or the front door of their house open at night and theeen they suddenly care about privacy and security.

Piracy is a crime. It might be the most common and socially acceptable (right after not fully stopping at an empty stop street), but it is still technically illegal and the govt can go after you any time they want to.

Please please please do not go around advertising your cam-quality bootlegs.

I'm considering joining my first private tracker. It turns out that most of them need you to pass an interview connected through your home IP. I understand this is a reasonable way to filter scammers and duplicate accounts. Still, to those who did it, how do you feel knowing your main IP is stored and associated to your torrenting history?

I've got a big music library of CD rips that I'd like to share, but my ISP routes my traffic, meaning I can't forward shit to my computer. I can't change ISPs because I live in a functional monopoly and this is the only provider with reasonable data rates. Is there anything I can do to share? Thanks in advance!

Hey, I'm not sure if it's allowed to ask for help on hunting for specific files but this doubles up as a question about the best place to get books.

I've been looking far and wide for the renegade game studio's Transformers rulebooks and managed to find the core rulebook from some weird site but not from any of the book or torrent sites. But I'm still missing the accompanying books like the campaigns and the expanded character sheet journal. Could anyone smarter or more resourceful help me with this hopeless quest?

And also the last time I pirated books was so long ago that people were offering them on their own websites basically, what is the best place to find books nowadays? And is there a way to submit the rulebook file I found to book piracy site like library genesis? In case someone else comes looking for it as well.

Looking for a good source of high quality +4k/HDR/DV/x265) TV/movie content. I currently have an account on torrentday but am looking to add additional sources. Any/all recommendations appreciated.

I recently fell in love with old school sifi movies again with my favourites being Alien and the Predator, naturally bringing me to Alien Vs Predator. And from movies cae the games which led me to discover that what could be objectively the best avp game of them all avp 2. Is all but impossible to obtain. Anywhere. GOG has avp1 and steam has avp(2010) but nowhere on the internet is it possible to legally purchase the game without going into the clutches of the second hand market and combatting the corrosion of disc media. Strangely this game is too young to emulate yet too old to be available as a classic. However there was hope for me as a small community kept this game alive through patches and free publically available iso files and installers, aswell as multiplayer servers. This game is beloved enough to have 16k votes on the gog community wishlist. But yet we still have to rely on patch installers and unpacking iso files. What other games and software that lay abandoned could the high seas of the internet save?

I watch a fair amount of series, but I'm not a data hoarder. I see the value in 2GB episodes, but I watch most series on my laptop, my simple 1920x1080 tv or even my phone where that value doesn't make a difference. If I want to have a theater experience, I'll go to the theater.

Most of the times I just want to enjoy a good story and relax before I go to bed.

I don't have infinite storage and I hate when I want to download something new, but Im out of storage, so I have to delete stuff first.

Does anyone have good sources for audio books? Finding a specific book can often be hit or miss on torrent sites.
