Many BT uploaders and BT webmasters, who are supposed to be the promoters of the new feature, are now taking a wait-and-see approach to this, reversing cause and effect in the hope that the new feature will first be popularised for leechers, and then they'll adopt it for creating new seeds. such as some of the uploaders of TGx

Any news on TGx using Bittorrent 2.0 https://torrentgalaxy.to/forums.php?action=viewtopic&topicid=2657

Is there any Bittorrent V2 tracker? https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/post/2272078

Hi! I've installed Stremio on the ISP-provided AndroidTV "decoder" and it allows my family to watch shows while still having access to live TV. However, I am not aware of any option to watch live sports ("Ligue 1" in France) with as good an interface as Stremio, so my father has to watch it on his computer by finding a site that's streaming it and has the least invasive adblock-bypassing ads.

I wanted to know whether something like Stremio exists that I can set a Linux server to boot directly into and control with a remote (so we no longer depend on the ISP-provided box) and would allow watching the free live TV provided by our ISP, as well as something similar to Stremio's interface for pirating shows/movies, and also has sports streaming. I know torrent streaming doesn't help the ecosystem much, but I'm not sure where else to look. I installed Kodi and played around with it, but I couldn't get Elementum to work (and it looks much more complicated for my family to use than Stremio). Thanks in advance!

I've managed to successfully setup the Stremio + Torrential + RD trifecta, but I am extremely disappointed in the amounts of German torrents. There are plenty of English and Russian ones, but I very rarely find on in German and therefore I can't use the service with my family.

I have set German as our primary language in the Torrentio Settings and I could not find any other Settings that would affect the languages provided. Is the lack of german torrents because of Germany's strict torrenting regulations or did I just miss something?

SOLVED: RD is in maintenance.

My kids are watching this show called Kitty Katz: https://web.stremio.com/#/detail/series/tt27146569 and it was working fine via RD up until this morning. Right now it's showing No Streams Found. Other shows work fine. Also when I check 1337x.to I can't find any torrents for this shows. They're still available via usenet luckily.

What has happened here? DMCA takedown?

For maintenance...this sucks.

Ahoy, me hearties!

Listen well, me brethren! I've just acquired a fine NAS, and I be lookin' to bolster our magnificent pirate community by sharing me digital plunder far and wide. But alas, it's come to me attention that the uploads on all me torrents be as small as a speck of sand on the ocean floor, or worse, a big fat zero!

Now, I beseech ye, me shipmates, lend me yer wisdom. How can I fortify our pirate brotherhood? What be the proper settings for me NAS? Be there any trusty trackers or tools to help me upload and distribute the most crucial booty to aid our cause on the high seas?

Speak up, ye seasoned scallywags, and together we shall chart a course toward a stronger, more formidable pirate crew! 🏴‍☠️🦜⚓

Looking for one episode two of the chosen season 3 by angel studios to complete my season downloads. Does anyone have a link?

Hello. I am having trouble finding a video I own on VHS format. I want to get a digital copy, but it probably does not exist. I think there are rules against asking about particular titles, so I'll just state the topic. It's about skills used by guides for camping in the wilderness between north central US and Canada. Are there any places might have such videos?

I tried a torrent of photoshop 25 beta but it wouldn't installed. I also did some looking up and heard that it currently doesn't work on torrented copies on macOS, only on Windows and with GenP.

I torrent (on the same PC that I run a Plex server from), but also auto connect on my devices whenever I’m on public wifi, so speed and avoiding blocks/captchas is also important. From what I understand having port forwarding will make a big difference in my torrent transfer speeds and ability to connect to peers.

I’m currently using Nord, but I’d like to make the switch to a company with a better privacy track record. I’m still really drawn to PIA because of the speeds and port forwarding, but I know their ownership is pretty sketchy, even if there’s nothing to point to there (yet). Mullvad dropped port forwarding, which seems to leave ProtonVPN. But now I’m hearing that the influx of Russian users post-invasion has increased the number of sites and services that block PVPN servers?

It seems like despite the huge amount of choices, nothing checks all the boxes except PIA. Am I missing something, or misinformed?

Does anyone have any experience with doing this? It's not for myself, but for someone who isn't tech inclined. I want to set him up with FOSS to avoid future shitification by azn. I know I need to strip drm, and then convert out of amz formats, but really have no idea how to do this. Any help would be appreciated! -j

With the Trove being long dead, and the last torrent not really being updated anymore, I was wondering what alternatives are out there.

There are a few DM's Guild books I am trying to find and they just are not out there.

I've moved my Plex server to Truenas Scale, and I'm about to get Sonarr/Radarr/Ombi/etc setup, but first I need to get VPN going. Truenas Scale uses OpenVPN and my current VPN service is ExpressVPN (which I've been very happy with). Setting up ExpressVPN with Truenas has proven challenging because of certificate import issues.

Previously I've always run ExpressVPN locally. Do you think it's a good idea just to put it on my router (PfSense) and call it a day? They do provide specific instructions to set it up on that specific router OS. I imagine I could always use a custom route to bypass it if needed (ie local sports on Fubo TV).

For a video that posted by the KTR scene group, was used by both RARBG and N1C to create torrents (V1 format).

now both of it are stuck at 90%+ due to age, is there a way to swap their data ~~to bring the progress to 100%~~?

thanks.

I'm looking into IPTV to fulfill my sports watching this fall. Are there any guides or does anyone have any suggestions on where I should start with this?

This morning I read the article about Denuvo on Switch. What do fellow pirates think of this? Could it pave the way for that crap on other consoles as well? Is it time to become a datahearer? (⌐■_■)

Hey crew! I often run into the issue that I can't find usenet entries for reasonably mainstream stuff. Example: "and just like that", a quite recent, mainstream-ish tv series. Second season is super available (dropped this year), first one has massive health problems and a lot of missing episodes. The first season is from 2021.

Using the inebriated slug and the geek terrestrial object as indexers with news demon as a provider.

Is there a trick to finding content or do I just have to live with some stuff / episodes / seasons not being available?

Is this even still a thing? It seems to be pretty well dead. Poe-API shat the bed, GPT4FREE got shut down and it's replacement seems to be pretty much non-functional, Proxies are a weird secret club thing (despite being nearly totally based on scraped corporate keys), etc.

Hello people I've managed to run a gluetun container with airvpn, I was wondering if there are any recommended environment variables to set outside of server country, port number and the cert/key values?

Is it save to use identifying information (credit card, PayPal) for paying a Usenet provider? I'm especially interested in thecubenet.com and easynews. Have there been any incidents where someone got into trouble for downloading copyright protected content from a provider?

Also should I use a VPN for downloading even when SSL is enabled?

Thanks in advance :)

After rarbg was taken down, most trackers I have been using aren’t working for me. I use qbittorrent plugins and if I start a torrent that supposedly has hundreds or thousands of seeders, the downloads never receive data.

What plugin tracker should I use that has accurate seeder counts?
