Came across a collection of starfish at Cates Park this morning due to low tide. I've never seen them up close like this before, very alien looking.

Sea lions visit Cowichan Bay in the fall to feast on salmon on their way to migrate upstream. It is early in the season, many more sea lions will arrive this month. Read more here.

Shot south-east from the Shuswap Lake bed towards the RW Bruhn Bridge. This bridge may be getting replaced for a 4-lane design in the near future¹.

I took this shot back in 2021
I was recently going back through my older folders of pictures to sort them a bit better than they were before and I noticed this was still in my "import" folder. Woops.
