Shermy and Charlie Brown sit facing each other on the ground with a fire in the middle. Shermy says,"Let's roast corn!"

Charlie Brown replies,"Let's roast wieners!"

Shermy says,"Let's roast marshmallows!"

They look down and Charlie Brown concludes,"The fire's gone out!"

Charlie Brown and Shermy walk down the snow-covered lane. The latter says,"In the old days it was different"

As they walk pass the wall, he continues,"People used to go through the woods to grandmother's house"

As they walk up some steps, Charlie Brown says,"But not any more..."

They stop and face each other. Shermy smiles as Charlie Brown concludes,"My grandmother lives in the apartment right above us!"

A standing Patty and Shermy smile as Charlie Brown, who is standing in front of them, suggests,"Let's have a picnic?"

They run off and Patty exclaims,"I'll bring the cake!" Shermy exclaims,"I'll bring the ice cream!"

Patty asks, "What will you bring, Charlie Brown?"

They stop as he replies,"Me!"

Charlie Brown sits in the chair reading, with his feet propped on a foot-stool. He looks up startled as Snoopy leaps over him.

He is confused as Snoopy does it again.

He exclaims angrily as Snoopy does it again.

He looks down at a sitting Snoopy and exclaims,"You can't possibly realize how annoying that is!"

Charlie Brown stands next to Patty, who is sitting in the chair and reading. He looks at her as she asks,"Charlie Brown, see what time it is, please?"

He walks down the hallway.

He looks at the clock which is sitting on a cabinet with a vase of flowers behind it. He is puzzled.

He smiles and looks up at her with his hands outstretched, holding his right hand slightly higher than his left one. She looks at him and says,"Ten minutes to three? All right, thank you"

The first time Charlie Brown appears in his signature zig-zag shirt.

Snoopy barks and chases a bird along the snow-covered field.

He continues to chase the bird as it flies over the frozen lake.

Snoopy panics as he starts to slip and slide on the lake.

He walks back onto the field angry.

Charlie Brown looks as Shermy walks up to him with his hand outstretched. The latter says,"Let's you an' me grip!"

As Shermy squeezes his hand, Charlie Brown yells in pain.

Alone, he rubs his hurting hand and shudders in relief.

Snoopy sits on the floor and looks up at Charlie Brown confused, as the latter walks up to him with his hand outstretched and says,"Let's you an' me grip!"

Shermy and Charlie Brown stand in the snow-covered field, in the winter clothes, talking. The latter says,"Hello, Shermy" Shermy replies,"Hello, Charlie Brown"

Charlie Brown looks over to his right and says,"Looks like it may get a little colder...." Shermy looks up into the sky and agrees,"Yes, it looks that way..."

Charlie Brown turns to walk off and raises his hand in farewell. He says,"Well, don't take any wooden nickels!" Shermy also turs to leave and lifts his hand in farewell. He says,"Don't do anything I wouldn't do!"

Charlie Brown walks along concluding,"Now there was a real adult conversation!"

She waves him inside the house and says," Come on in...."

As they sit in chairs facing each other, she concludes,"If I knew you were comin', I'd have baked a mud-pie!"

Shermy stands talking to Charlie Brown, who is holding a book. He says,"That's a good question, Charlie Brown..."

He puts his hand to his chin and continues,"Yes, sir, a very good question!"

As Charlie Brown looks down at his book, Shermy asks,"Why don't you ask me again six weeks from now?"

As they walk off, he concludes,"I'll be older and wiser then!"

A happily puzzled Snoopy sits behind Patty as she points at the glass case in the store and says,"A penny's worth of this...."

He licks his lips as she continues,"And a penny's worth of that..."

He becomes puzzled again as she says,"A penny's worth of this and...no, wait..."

He exclaims angrily as she conclude,"On second thought, I'll take a comic book!"
