This jam has some special rules: Instead of having a set theme and giving you free reign to use whatever tools you want, the roles are reversed: Your game can have any theme, but it must fit the following criteria:

• Runs in a terminal
• Only ASCII characters
• No more than 72 columns and 20 rows
• No colours or text formatting
• Source code smaller than 1MiB

You have until July 1st — if you have time to kill, this might be a fun way to use it. :)

As i know osu! isn't open source but ppy is working on osu!lazer which is open source rewrite of the osu! client

onFOSS-LAN: Communication is Key!

Hello fellow gamers! We are glad to announce the next "online-LAN-party" on 6th May starting at 12:00 UTC! The onFOSS-LAN is here for everybody to join and play FOSS-games together! For the first time, we now have a prize for the winner of the tournament! The prize will be announced on our communication channel one day before the event, so stay tuned.

Speaking of which, we also have a new bridged channel to stay in contact! Now supporting Matrix, XMPP and IRC!

There is no registration needed for the tournament, you just have to show up in time and play the whole tournament!
