Would adding Brissett keep the Vikings in the playoff hunt? He's been wasting away on the Washington bench.

It is a wonder that he is still playing at this level at 33 years old when year after year his body is taking a beating being the league’s leader in tackles for several seasons.

Bruins - 90 games - 12 regulation losses

Record: 72-12-6 (6 losses in OT)

Patriots - 25 games - 14 regulation losses

Record: 10-15 (1 loss in OT)

Conclusion: Bruins good, Patriots bad.

The details here actually don’t really matter outside of Danielle Hunter being involved. This actually makes sense considering Jonathan Gannon’s familiarity with Hunter.

So, let’s assume the trade looks something like this:

Vikings give Danielle Hunter + a conditional 2nd

Cardinals give Kyler Murray + a conditional 4th

Kylers Cap hit for 2024 is 16m.

The Vikings currently have 7m in cap room.

Trading Hunter would create another 11m in cap room, leaving the Vikings with 18m in space, just enough to fit Kylers contract for 2024.

The Cardinals have about 11m in cap room, and would pick up around 8m of Hunters cap hit for 2024, leaving them with ~2m in cap room after the trade.

As crazy as this idea seems on the nose, it is actually super plausible if the Vikings determine Kyler is their guy past this season.

He looked phenomenal in his first start and I was really high on him during the draft. Seemed to have all the tools, but for some reason, he was just annihilated by the media, mostly for stupid stuff like mayonnaise or something. There seemed to be an almost vicious hatred for the guy largely on Twitter. Can someone explain? I swear on draft night, they cut to his face every time somebody was picked over him, like they just wanted to humiliate him.

These stats are extra impressive considering he started his career right before the pass explosion in the league.

This is gonna be a fun second half of the season. The bills have looked sluggish, the chiefs played terrible yesterday and the bengals for some reason always start out slow so we’ll see. One team that has impressed me is the jags, i believe they are the best team in the AFC right now but it’s only the first half. Etienne is an absolute stud and I can see him getting 1st team all pro this year. Hope you’re all strapped in for the wild ride in the AFC this year. I’m picking Mahomes and Lawrence rematch in the afc championship.

EDIT: If Rodgers wouldn’t have gotten hurt, the jets would hands down be the best team in football right now.

There have not been a lot of good football games this year…like at all. The Jets/Bills week 1 stands out (which was more entertaining than actually good football but I’ll count it), Eagles/Commanders a few weeks ago was pretty great but like…I gotta rack my brain to find any real memorable games. There’s been so much bad offense, bad reffing, and just total blowouts it’s hard to even get invested in RedZone some weeks, let alone full games.

And with this kind of play it starts to make the bad stuff less forgivable like the insane amount of commercials and ridiculous reffing that stops what feels like every game at some point dead in its tracks. I’ll never stop paying attention, none of us will, but NFL Sundays are starting to feel less fun and more like an obligation.

Brock Purdy beat 1 team with a winning record as a starter in the 2022 regular season, and 1 team with a winning record in 2023.

Now that the dust is settling and the shine is wearing off, they’ve lost 3 games in a row, how long do you think the leash is?

If the 9ers want to start winning again, they should choose a higher number to hyperfixate on. No one tell Shanahan about 38. (But really i thought these point streaks were interesting)

Dude is a beast. 6'4, 235. 4.33 speed.

He has Megatron measurables but can't seem to put it together consistently.

His best season in 2020 he had 83 catches, 1300 yards and 10 TD's.

He had a good year last year with 90 grabs, about 1050 yards but only 6 TD's

A player of his caliber should have 10-13 TD's a year, be getting multiple jump balls, back shoulder throws, and fade routes in the end zone etc with his size.

So what is it? His route running? With those measurables and speed he should be putting up Megatron or Julio Jones numbers every year.

They're en route to losing their 3rd straight after a bad showing in Cleveland...

@Broncos: Won 31-21, Scored 1 Safety, 5 field goals, 1 defensive touchdown, 1 offensive touchdown

Vs Eagles: Won 20-14, 4 field goals, 1 offensive touchdown and 2 point conversion

Vs Giants: Won 13-10 (OT): 2 field goals, 1 offensive touchdown

In short, I am worried about the sustainability of such a phenomenon.
