Entertaining for neutral fans, but I have never EVER seen this happen in the NFL

Looking at Myles Garrett’s career to this point he’s looking like the best 1OA non-qb I’ve seen in my lifetime, but I’m curious who the top one would be. I know it’s tough because different positions look at different metrics but is there someone above Garrett?

I just rewatched all of the 3rd/4th down, red zone, and 2 minute drill snaps from Atlanta's most recent games against Minnesota. Here's what happened with Bijan on each of those plays:

So we've got 27 key plays. Of which we see:

• 8 (30%) where he is not on the field
• 5 (19%) of which he is pass blocking
• 4 (15%) of which he is pass blocking vs a 3 or 4 man pass rush
• 5 (19%) of which he is used as a checkdown
• 3 (11%) of which he is used as a decoy
• 3 (11%) of which he is lined up outside
• 1 (4%) of which he receives a carry or target. This carry went for a 1st down.

Hey all, Commanders fan here. I was wondering what the unbiased opinion on Sam Howell is looking right now. Obviously as Washington fan, I’m definitely looking at Sam through rose tinted goggles, more specifically, a QB with a crazy high ceiling with any woes being attributed to growing pains. However I know this is definitely a biased view and even a little naive. I was hoping to get a greater understanding on what the the NFL fanbase as a whole is feeling on him, perhaps to temper my own expectations. Thanks y’all

Listen, i’m not saying his time isn’t coming to an end at the elite level. But one poor season in 23 years does not call for some of the revisionism occurring here lately. Arguably, the defences he’s still producing (2022, 2021, 2020) have kept the Patriots from rebuilding properly. It isn’t easy in this league to escape from 8-8 hell without a franchise QB.

“Brady made him”. You can use whatever stat you want here, but let’s use the most basic one. Points allowed per game. Of course there are influences here. Time of possession, special teams, ability to generate turnovers. But at its most basic level this is what determines the result of a game.

Brady had 20 seasons as a Patriot. He had a top 10 defence in 17 of them. In 3 super bowl victories, the Patriots played 3 of the top 15 offences in NFL history. 01 Rams, 16 Falcons and 18 Rams. 17 points, 22 points(pick six), 3 points. Even throw the record breaking 04 Colts in there, 3 pts. If we change to PTS per drive, he still has 15 top 10 defences!

Manning had 4, Rodgers had 3, Brees had 2. All three had great ball security and time of possession.

Is Brady the GOAT, yes. His consistency in clutch moments puts him ahead of the likes of Peyton and Rodgers. Did he make Bill the greatest defensive mind in history, no!

Brady record when scoring 20+in the playoffs: 32-4. Rodgers is 12-9 in this statistic for a direct comparison.

With the way he absolutely glazes his brother, he should seriously consider. I'm my, seriously, how can you call yourself an analyst and be THIS delusional and bias.

There is a DRASTIC difference between the 2023 QB Cap landscape and the 2024 QB Cap landscape. From 2023 to 2024 there is an 88.97% increase to the averaged QB top 10 cap hits. In 2023 the avg (of the top 10) cap hit is 25.4M and then it BOOMS to 48M in 2024. The top QB Cap hit in 2023 would rank as #8 in 2024. ALL of the top 10 QBs have a higher dead cap than their cap hit. How do we see this changing the team landscapes with such a large cap hit going to one position? (Projected 2024 Cap is 240.5M)

Excellent chance that the losing HC of the game tonight gets fired. I have no dog in this fight (although I'm a Packer fan), but the coaches have to know that they are playing for their jobs and that's reason enough for me to tune in tonight!

Bryce over Stroud is starting to look like a mistake.. might be early as the sample size is too small, but Stroud has looked rather impressive. I haven’t watched a ton of Panther games/highlights so I can’t fully make an honest opinion on how he’s looked.

Bijan has 103 carries to Tyler's 116.

Bijan is 22nd in rushing attempts, and is 41st in redzone rushing attempts (seriously what the actual fuck).

It is absolutely criminal his usage. Even if he was a 7th round pick, with that production, I would expect him to be RB1, but the EIGHTH pick to be used like this is shocking.

I cannot comprehend what Arthur Smith thinks is best for the team, when our 3 best offensive skill positions are basically just used as decoys.

Any Falcons fan could tell you that Kyle Pitts would be 1st team all pro on most teams, the man catches literally anything and is always open, but nah, Jonnu Smith is our guy.
