Celerbridge seems to be blocking Mullvad IPs, servers, or they're detecting vpns by other means. Does anyone know of any work arounds to continue using the service?

Followed the steps to the T from mullvads router section "pfsense with wireguard" and each time I am unable to access the internet at the end of the process. Anyone else have issues setting up the same combination?

Good setup guides.
Fast speeds

Cons: None

Overall, Mullvad is amoung my most highly rated VPNs and I recommend using it for any type of VPN user. I've played FPS games like Battlefield 4 with it, and MMOs like World of Warcraft.

So I'm trying to send Monero anonymously to purchase mullvad. The steps I've taken are:

1. buy btc on fully verified binance account using Apple pay etc
2. send the btc to changelly to convert to monero with disposable email address and no other KYC data
3. withdraw the monero to my monero wallet stored on my computer.
4. pay with monero anonymously using TOR.

Is this a good strategy?

Recently, just a few days ago, I have been experiencing issues regarding connections.

It keeps reconnecting to the server just out of the blue and keeps happening even when I switch locations. The result is that I have downtime when this happens, connecting to the server, and I have to disable it just to have peace of mind when I dont want interruption to my Internet

Anyone have the same issues or is it an isolated case? Also is there any known fix for this if ever?

I've comfigured wireguard om router. My speed max out at 260-280 mbps. I have 500 mbp internet connection. I know i cannot get the same speed without vpn, but is there anything i can do, so the speed is least 80%? My router is zenwifi xt8.

Hi Guys,

I have a Mullvad subscription, but only really used it on my laptop. I'm extremely uninformed on how it should be used on mobile devices.

Is it a simple task of just going to the play store (I'm on android) downloading it, signing in and activating it? Does it need any particular configuration beyond that?

When in another country is it a good idea to have it active the whole time, or just when I connect to any kind of WiFi? Is anything else on top of Mullvad a good idea?

Apologies for the (perhaps) dumb questions, I have not been out of the country in a long, long time and this was quite sudden so I'm going in a bit blind.

The mullvad client does not work on Debian and CentOS Docker installations because it requires systemd support. I would like to see non-systemd support enabled for Mullvad because I like the mullvad client and would prefer not to use Wireguard or OpenVPN to connect inside Docker containers. The mullvad client is simple installation without any complexity. I prefer it.

I see that systemd is necessary for the mullvad client to be installed, but systemd is not installed as part of Docker containers because they tend to run one process and systemd supports multiple processes/users, etc.

Is Mullvad planning to make the mullvad client docker friendly? Is mullvad aware of this issue or is Docker in the realm of nerds somewhere afar and not considered a real issue?

Any boilerplate that shows this working would be super helpful, Mullvad!

I have a computer, and every single thing over this computer has to go through VPN.

But I have other devices (phones and laptops) that shouldn't be connected to VPN. So, not looking for a new router.

How do I ensure that the computer dedicated for VPN does NOT work without VPN?

I mean to say, I want to remove the connectivity options to internet without VPN.

I don't want to rely on Kill Switch alone.

For now, I'm using the computer with Wi-Fi, but will soon move to Ethernet connection.

I swear to god I’m not actively using the VPN on any of the devices I’m logged into, but the time continuously goes down no matter what, as if it’s activated 24/7 on a device. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a bug? What can I do to solve it?

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but IIRC, previously the connection check page was displaying four different types of information (Using Mullvad VPN, DNS Leaks, WebRTC Leaks, and something else I don't remember). Beginning sometime earlier this year, the fourth item is no longer displayed.

Can anyone confirm my recollection? And, if so, recall the fourth item?

I recently moved to a new country, and in my old one, I didn't need a VPN, as piracy wasn't illegal there. I'm looking for an affordable torrent service that allows monthly subscriptions, and I came across Mullvad. However, I heard they changed some things and removed the support for forwarded ports. I don't understand much about VPNs; I've never had one. Even with this change, is it still safe to use Mullvad for downloading torrents? I just want to download games and movies.

Hi, so I accidentally turned off my computer while still connected to the Mullvad service. Now that I've turned it back on, I'm getting no internet from my WiFi, presumably because Mullvad wants me to route through it before it allows any traffic. However, because I have no internet, Mullvad is stuck "Connecting to Mullvad system service" because, I assume, I have no internet connection. Stuck in a bad loop here, any help would be appreciated.

I myself use Mullvad as my base for everything so I never use the internet without having Mullvad switched on will full kill switches deployed. I only deactivate for making payments..

One of the main things is that Mullvad will stop Google from storing all of your searches which apparently they always used to keep and could be linked back to your IP address.

Nowadays I no longer bother using antivirus software I just use Windows 10's native antivirus, I use Windows 10 firewall.

I use Google Chrome with uBlock origin installed. ( I know that Chrome isn't that great really) - I like the idea of either Brave or Mullvad browser if I needed extra levels of security for some reason and if I was visiting China I think I would run TAILS or at least Tor browser bundle.

It seems that over time Windows has become more secure perhaps as I seem to have to install less secure software and nobody installs firewalls, antivirus software or antimalware software.

My biggest tool that brings me peace of mind is Mullvad VPN though

Do you get regular disconnections or do you find it's more or less 24/7 connected without interruptions?

To expand this question a bit more what sort of connectivity do you get with other VPNS in other words what is "reasonable to expect"?

My connectivity has been regularly patchy and it goes through phases of it being sometimes fine and me hardly noticing any disconnection and then other times like tonight it will disconnect 5 times per hour for a couple of hours

Edit: I always use a London based server and am based in the UK....Thanks for the feedback and it doesn't look like it's a Mullvad issue and so it's probably something on my own network.

Any tips or advice as to what it might be? I use an ordinary wifi dongle and am in a main house with a normal router.

This problem in the past few days is becoming more and more annoying.every...i Say 30mins/1hr my internet stops working,when i open the android app this message popups "Your device Is inactive You have removed this device.To connect again you Will need to log back in.Going to login will unblock the internet on this device." Sometimes when i log in Is full of devices (5/5) but I use only 2 devices,if I try deleting all the devices..After some minutes some reappears but not created by me. I've not shared the account Number with anyone and mullvad Is the only service Who Is creating me problems (no One has tried to login to other accounts like gmail Amazon etc.) Based on this I don't understand if this Is a bug or if my account has been Stolen. I Need help.(Sorry for my bad english)

I need to check email from local IP ranges due to security restrictions.

"C:\Program Files (x86)\eM Client\MailClient.exe" is selected for the split.

No connections are being made when split. The client works fine when disconnected. It connects but the expected server rejection response is received when retrieving email thru Mullvad.

Ideas?
