Been using them for years with no problems but lately the experience has been terrible.

I get like 1 mbps when using mullvad and the connection is terrible, i used multiple countries with same results. It seems like something changed in the past month or so?

Hello, does anyone have info on "out of sync" message (windows 11 desktop). Quit and restart did nothing. seems to be working ok though. message does not appear on IOS version. could be my pc after recent trojan infection i suppose.

Set a mullvad proxy in browser or don't set it, you are good to go.

Now if I don't use mv proxy in browser it doesn't want to connect to internet. What is going on?

Every now and again my vpn just stops working and doesn’t connect at all to my WiFi . For example now I’m in Switzerland on the vpn but no matter which country I change it to it doesn’t connect and just gets stuck on “connecting” . I also tried my mobile data to see if my internet wasn’t working but even with that it won’t connect. Is there any fix for this?

I was playing a Discord game and it showed a country flag beside your name based on your location. I'm connected to Spain but it displayed where I actually am. Im using Mullvad with DAITA and Multihop. DNS leak test showed Spain, so why did Discord show something else? How do I fix this?

I have two iPhones connected to Wi-Fi on my new Fritz!Box. I just went out to eat and when I came back, both devices connected to the internet, but as soon as I try to activate MV, it says "blocked connection."

I already restarted the modem, logged in and out, restarted the iPhones — Wi-Fi is working, and the diagnostics show no issues with the Wi-Fi. So it must be related to MV.

MV works fine on my MacBook using a LAN connection.

A family member wants an easy to block bad websites. I looked at Mullvad family DNS and it blocks a lot. I'm going to change their routers default DNS to Mullvad. Afterwards do I need to change the DNS settings within Windows? I'm under the impression since it's on the router level, every device connected will use Mullvads.

I noticed this when I split tunneled a secondary browser to access government related sites, I was simply unable to access the website and errors were about DNS. One example is dns probe finished nxdomain, another is dns probe possible. So what I did was simply enable the secure DNS in browser settings itself and select a DNS provider that is not system default, which fixed the issue. So if I split tunnel an app it shouldn't use mullvad DNS too, is there a solution to this? This was just a browser, but another app I want the same may not have a DNS option.
