I didn't see this one coming at the start of the season. Especially with the start the Rays had, but this is one of the things that makes baseball so good. We'll see what happens, still three games left in the series and a long way to go until the end of the season.

How do you guys feel about this? I'm definitely not a fan of his mostly because of the persisten blackouts and his role in the A's move to Vegas. On the other hand during his term baseball has made some progress.

It's probably not an easy job with all the influence from the owners, but I would like to see him listen to the fans more.

Fujinami's era is 8.57, but that mostly stems from his first 18 games. He has a 2.45 era over his last 16 games. Meanwhile Easton Lucas didn't crack Baltimore's top 30 prospect list, so they aren't giving up too much.

After using Bernardino as an opener, Pivetta came on in the third and struck out 13 in 6 innings of work. He's been very good in this long relief role.

His third straight game with a homerun and his 35th in 95 games. Which is the same as Judge's record setting pace last season.

Who do you guys think might be traded?

A group of A’s fans attempted to stage a protest at the ASG in Seattle. The goal was to get everyone to stand silently in the 5th inning and then chant “Sell the team”.

It was a pretty lame response but probably not unexpected given that we’re not in Oakland. I didn’t see anyone stand, at least not for the protest. There was some chanting in the 5th and then again when Rooker was up in the 8th. Not enough to make a dent in anyone’s opinion I’d guess.

What was surprising was the negativity from some Seattle fans. I heard from many locals something like “Oakland sucks, move to Vegas”. Surprising because you’d think Seattle sports fans would get the pain of losing a team given the ‘Sonics.

I get the desire to try and get a national platform, but at this point, protesters really need to focus their efforts where it matters most, in Oakland. Otherwise, as on Tuesday, it looks like the baseball world is apathetic to the A’s plight.
