The time skip feels natural, and even though I was initially skeptical about the premise that Hank and Peggy moved to Saudi Arabia for years (seems so out of character for them), I now appreciate how it allows us to see the Hills react to the ways life in the US has changed. It was a great choice.

Hulu will be back at San Diego Comic-Con 2025, and this year, the adult animation destination is bringing King of the Hill's Arlen, Texas to life right outside the Convention Center. Guests can step inside Hank Hill’s Backyard for a big ole cookout, complete with BBQ bites served up throughout the day, classic lawn games, themed photo ops and a cold can of Alamo (water) to beat the heat.

Comedian and “The Daily Show” host/correspondent Ronny Chieng has joined the cast of Hulu’s upcoming “King of the Hill” revival, taking over as the voice of fan-favorite character Kahn Souphanousinphone.

Chieng joins the show as a recurring guest star when “King of the Hill” returns for a long-awaited Season 14, with ten episodes set to bow Aug. 4 on Hulu. He assumes the gig from Toby Huss, who previously voiced Kahn through the show’s first 13 seasons, from 1997 to 2009. In the revival, Huss has now moved over to voice Dale Gribble starting with Episode 7, tapping in to replace the late Johnny Hardwick.

As you can see, there are a few stories touched on in the brief clip. Bill adds to a pile of burning books while an unknown character serenades the scene. Bobby and Hank seem to be trapped in a walk-in cooler or storage room, possibly at Bobby's restaurant. Boomhauer joyfully embraces a reluctant Hank.

And, perhaps most touchingly, Joseph Gribble joyfully rides on horseback alongside his biological father John Redcorn, apparently getting the bonding moment they've always deserved as father and son.
