Plasma 6 Bugs

If you encounter a bug, proceed to https://bugs.kde.org/, check whether it has been reported.

If it hasn't, report it yourself.

PLEASE THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE POSTING HERE.

Developers do not look for reports on social media, so they will not see it and all it does is clutter up the feed.

Techpaladin, the company founded by a crack team of KDE developers, becomes a KDE sponsor.

From now on, not only will they be developing KDE software for Valve and the Qt Group, but will also be helping fund our community!

On 14 October, #Microsoft will end support for #Win10.

This will turn hundreds of millions of computers that cannot upgrade to #Win11 into security risks and #eWaste.

Yours may be one of them!

But what if you could make your current one fast and secure again?

Hey guys! I want to create a custom KDE (or is it sddm?) splash screen. I've found a couple guides that are outdated. Is there any documentation as to what goes where?

Recently dipped into the configuration of KDE Plasma and I found something really annoying. These toolbars at the top and bottom dont disappear, when I want to play a game, even tho the game starts and is set to fullscreen mode. Additionally, this also really fucks with my mouse in a way, that I cant use the upper part of menus, because then my mouse snaps out of the window and reappears in the upper toolbar. How do I change this?

Why doesn't plasma have this feature? I'm pretty sure there is a technical reason. This is pretty much the most customizable DE in existence, and missing a small feature like this seems odd to me.

Hello,

I have a fresh install of OpenSUSE Tumbleweed with KDE Plasma 6.3.5.

Every time I open an app which needs root privileges (such as myrlyn) I’m greeted by the KDE su window to enter my password. Even if I tick “Remember my password”, this does not have any effects, and the next time I’m asked for my password again.

Any idea on how to ensure the “Remember my password” setting in KDE su is honoured?

Thanks!

What's the difference between "Accept" and "Save" in the KDE Spectacle (screenshot tool) 6.4 beta?

Both seem to save the image to the same location.

I noticed this recently, and now if I hover or click the network icon on Plasma, I see all my docker bridge networks, not just the normal Wifi and wired networks available.

Why did those start to show up, and how do I get rid of them?
