A remarkably quick and easy project I wanted to get done in a short amount of time. I got to use a piece of purple leather I had been saving. Inside is a single card slot and a bigger space behind it.

Very similar to a wristlet bag I made recently but tiny, I really just wanted to focus on polish and execution for this one rather than trying anything crazy.

Happy with how this one turned out, I love the colours and, whilst I thought the leather I picked was too thick, it is pleasingly chunky and sturdy.

Also gave me an excuse to do my favourite little design accent which is to stitch a different piece of leather on, edge to edge, with that satisfying joining, crisscrossing, stitch (if anyone knows the technical name please let me know, I just made it for a different project, it seems to work and I love the look of it).

I used to have a small metal workshop in a shed behind the house. Recently got the opportunity to re-do it but way bigger. Quite a long video but I hope you enjoy none the less :)

It's at https://cutecafe.freeflarum.com/. I love the idea of forums and I think we should kind of bring them back as our own little space to connect and talk.

Making this video was deeply personal for me. I've moved over 30 times in my life; over a dozen of those moves were before the age of 18.

For the last three years, my wife and I have been in limbo after getting priced out of our home. We're living in one rented room; our whole life is crammed in a 10x10 box with no real end in sight. Tens of millions of people in America have it way, way, worse than me.

But we can end this!

Had a really good time, I'm really glad we made signs :)

I'm not awake during the day generally so I'm kinda thinking now, maybe a way I can contribute is making signs for people to pass out or give away as a way I can contribute

There were people out handing out cookies and donuts which was pretty cool too :)

I produced this video for The Gravel Institute a few years back before the organization folded.

It’s popped off again recently for some reason. Maybe because everything has gotten worse?
