In many countries, websites, social media and blogs are controlled by oppressive leaders. Young people, in particular, are forced to grow up in systems where their opinion is heavily manipulated by governmental disinformation campaigns.

Starting with 14 June 2021, new players will have to buy the game. If you add it to your library for free before then, you can keep the game in your Steam account forever.

I am not sure if United Nations Relief is an imperialist venture or not (there's so many of these UN commissions) and certainly they could have picked different orgs to donate to, but if you feel like giving money to the UNRWA is okay, you get 1000 indie games out of it.

Valve is currently testing a new feature on Steam Beta. The “Invite Anyone” upgrade to the existing Remote Play feature allows you, a Steam gamer, to play compatible games with any of your friends. They won’t need to set up an account on Steam to do so; they’ll just be able to hop right in after they click on a hyperlink (and install an app).

Your friend will need to have Steam Link installed on their Windows, Android, or iOS device before they click. Let's hope this expands still to MacOS and Linux.

i'm looking for a good xbox emulator app for android with lots of games.

https://discoelysium.com/ \ https://archive.is/fMlV4 - what could it mean? A prequel set during the revolution? Release of an expansion? A sequel? A completely new game? A Tabletop RPG set in their world? Whatever the case, I am excited.

I like discovering new things. So I went through the entire list of games in the Bundle For Racial Justice and Equality. I found some I liked, and wanted to share.

What I don't want to share are the relatively widely known games: Oxenfree, Celeste, Oneshot, A Short Hike, Pyre, Octodad, Hidden Folks, Night In The Woods. Games that already have over a thousand reviews on Steam.

Here are some of my obscure gems:

Cromwell - Clearly inspired by Reigns, and I loved Reigns. A story based card game with swipe-left or swipe-right decisions. Reigns was amazing, I was sad when I finished all the Android Play Store versions of the games, but am glad there's another one in the spirit of that series.

A New Life - It was made by Angela He, creator of Missed Messages. The atmosphere, the aesthetic, is just so awesome to me. Why can't other creators make games so lush with feels and beauty as Angela He? There's just no comparison imo.

Elsemir - a really well done 2d graphical point + click fantasy game. Click through to the itch.io page and check out the reviews and screenshots.
