I am teetering on the knife's edge in this playthrough but it's 1843 and I don't remember how (this is an old save lol) but I have Persia, Dai Nam, and Burma as protectorates, soo close to having a negative liberty desire increase (just need my infamy to drop), just got Benin as well, so while maybe I'm doing some horrible colonialism, the good news is I've prevented the Anglos and the Fr*nch from their usual easy avenues of expansion.

Seems like this is DLC for Pathologic 2 (new playable character) being released as a new game for obvious financial reasons. Has anybody ever played these games and have thoughts? I own Pathologic 2 and watched the hbomberguy essay ages ago.

I'm surprised to hear this since from what I recall the publisher forced Creative Assembly to continue the series in some sort of mobile slop format instead which then predictably fizzled out

Rebirth happens at about the 1:21 mark. It’s absolutely insane that the first killscreen happened less than a year ago and back then rebirth seemed like a pipe dream. Not just the endurance and skill, but knowing all the unique, unseen situations he needed to avoid in the higher levels in order to not trigger a killscreen. And some of those levels have a lot of conditions that will trigger one.

For those unaware of what this means: because of the way NES Tetris is programmed, eventually the levels will functionally loop back around to level zero again. Hence why the speed suddenly goes from hyper speed to beginner mode.

I don't know if you guys know who Hutch is, but I loved his content in the early 2010s. It was mostly COD stuff and I haven't watched him consistently in years, but I kept the subscription because of how much I liked him as a teenager. In a time when the content was a lot of toxic gamerbro shit, Hutch made genuine videos talking about depression and showing vulnerability and that really spoke to teenage me.

Last month he made a video where he's switching to only politics stuff now and I stayed subscribed because I don't watch that much YouTube content anyways and I could forgive him being a liberal demsoc. But teaming up with Destiny is a bridge too far.

I can excuse bad content, but pro-genocide crosses the line.
