I'm not going to bet against AI in the long run, but I wonder if ChatGPT (in its current form) will gain mass adoption.

Hello friends, what's your opinion and idea about the future of space exploration, travel, the solutions to the hardships of space travel?

It will be very interesting to see at what price they can commercialize this. Converting excess renewable energy into long-term storage is a necessity for a 100% renewable electricity grid. The toughest problem for an all-renewables grid is the rare times that there are extended periods of low wind and backup solutions are needed to keep the electricity grid going. There are many, many researchers all around the world working on this problem, and this is yet another promising possibility.

By now we're all aware of how damaging plastics are to our health, via the spread of microplastics in water. These particles are everywhere in nature now, and showing up in ever greater quantities in our bodies.

Surprisingly, this issue isn't being treated with more urgency. Perhaps because we've yet to find a truly horrifying example of what they'll do to humans. Recent research suggests they can cross the blood-brain barrier in human brains - perhaps something like that will be the wake-up call? Meanwhile, it's good to know people are working on alternatives.

While I am definitely on the side of labor when it comes to the Hollywood strike, I wonder if their position is ultimately doomed. There are going to be some people happy to license their likeness for next to nothing.
