A bit late. Skater girl fit! I know a few people that dress like this with some regularity.

I picked an image with much more of a masculine look this time.

A bit late, but I'm sorta tired from a long meeting.

I really like the cape in this image.

A nice Lolita outfit, I'm aiming to get something similar sometime in the future.

Just got this two piece! My actual fit today was a green corduroy blazer on a white button up, with black trousers. Not the greatest photo I've ever taken, but I blame the low light in my dwelling. The angle is also a bit weird, but it's about 155 cm from top to bottom and the waist is approximately 80cm. Not on me, because I don't want to doxx myself. Reply with your own fits!

black panthers and che guvera mentioned! The left must wear hats again

Just gonna be posting outfits I find interesting. The fit of the day each friday is probably going to be a Friday Fit Check, where I post one of my own fits.

Preferrably cheap. I'm not opposed to making some of the clothes myself. I'm new to men's fashion. It doesn't have to be exact I just want to go for the same vibes (big robes, colorful print).

theres some respectability politics at the end but frankly im just happy hes getting the recognition and money he deserves. some fact the video doesn't mention. Dapper Dan was inspired to study fashion design by a malcom x quote.

he started out selling shoplifted luxury items from his car.

hes vegetarian now and i dont think he works with fur any longer but i cant confirm.

frankly you should read his whole wiki hes lived a truly amazing life and is one of the most impactful living black designers.

I am very picky about clothing and I gained quite a bit of weight so I need to go through the horrifying task of buying a new wardrobe.

My fellow chubby bunnies, where do you buy ethical/somewhat affordable plus sized clothes in (more or less) dark/solid colors? I'm starting to size out of most of the stores around me.

My usual outfit is a cropped/tiny black band t shirt or ringer shirt, black skinny jeans, black vans or blundstone boots, cropped hoodie, perhaps a flannel. Outside of that when I'm wearing stuff that's more flashy I go for a "doom metal elf vibe" in terms of jewelry and adornments lol. Corny but I don't know how else to describe it.

"Do not believe those who mistakenly say that there wasn’t fashion in the Soviet Union, and if even it was, then all was copied from the West. Soviet fashion of the Soviet era has always existed since the time of the New Economic Policy of the 1920s. So called Gatsby style with its short hairstyles, cute hats and dresses with low waist blossomed in the 1920-30s. Fashion rapidly developed after the Second World War. Women who a decade earlier had to forget about their feminine essence, put on rough clothes and stand up to the machine, or even go to the front, again wanted to be beautiful. Soviet woman were interested in fashion, always dressed fashionably, sewing herself using fashion magazine or ordered desirable model in the fashion atelier, there were a lot of them in every city of the USSR. Soviet fashion magazines, the choice of which was always offered to the clients of fashion atelier. Fashion magazines were available through the subscriptions, by mail. There was such a postal service – an annual subscription to fashion magazines. The first Fashion House was opened in Moscow, and it got the status of all-Union. In 1953 it first took part in a Prague International Competition of clothes. Almost every major industrial city had its own fashion house. Fashion magazines were published by Leningrad, Moscow, Minsk, Kiev fashion houses. Every fashion house had its own shop selling new models."

theres more pics and info about the soviet fashion industry but these ones were my fave.

Title. Just for walking around. Looking for something waterproof so I can wear them in rain or maybe light snow.

Last time I bought some new balance sneakers and they're full of cracks and tearing apart at the seams after a little over a year. I hate that everything is designed to fail immediately oooaaaaaaauhhh

And why does it look like blackbloc-mixed-with-courier-core for software developers who don't even ride a bike or do anything cool? Like my dudes, just put on the Patagonia puffer like the good PMC Karen you are.

Is it just the opposite version of people who got really into football jerseys or carhart jackets but for people who used to buy Supreme shit?

Is this why hardshells are so fucking expensive now?
