Lemuroid doesn't show any MAME roms on android. I tried extracting the files, downloading from multiple sources, refreshing and making dedicated folders, nothing. Same issue is present for other console roms like NeoGeo.

Any way to fix it? Else what's another good MAME emulator for android?

So I have a retroid p4 pro and want to look into more switch games. Celeste runs perfectly at a full 60 fps. What other switch games run well on the hardware. I looked into star allies and it wouldn't run at all so I guess only 2d?

Also since yuzu and suyu are dead what are switch options for android?

And where do I get switch ROMs? Nxbrew is a joke. None of the ROMs I need are there

Are there emulators for arcade machines on android? Mainly to play some of the capcom fighting games

Mainly xmen vs street fighter for the arcade. Played on a machine recently and wanna emulate now

i would really like to use hardware similar to the original devices the games im emulating were played on. like i'd love an open source gameboy that i could load my favorite emulator and games onto. does this sort of thing exist or would i have to build my own

So I tried running monster hunter stories on my rp4 pro at both standard and high performance settings, in both it runs slow and with major audio glitches. Any hacks I can use to make it run better?

Using the final build of citra canary

So I have a mh stories ROM but I remember there being free downloadable quests, mainly in the post game, I checked myrient and they don't have the files, where can I find them?

Sorry if this is not relevant to this space

With citra, is it possible to interact with original hardware?

Are there any other methods to do things such as multiplayer? Mainly so I can trade a pokemon to evolve it.

Or is citra exclusively offline?

I'm trying to find links to full mirrors of Citra, but I can't find any of the extra repos Citra hosted (like the build environment with docker files, the GitHub wiki with all of the documentation, etc.)

I found this but it looks like it only has the Citra code for now. Does anyone have a backup of those other repos?

I was hoping to learn more about emulation development on an eventual successor like Lime3ds and maybe contribute toward getting the CI builds working again. If this isn't the right community for this question, I can remove it. I wasn't sure if there was a good place to ask questions on the development side of things.

tochd is an iso/cue+bin and other cd like formats to chd converter. It's actually an automation script that uses chdman and 7z under the hood. The Python script/program only works under Linux and is for commandline usage.

v0.12 - March 8, 2024

Note: We are jumping over v0.11 and combine it with next version v0.12.

  • bug: counter for finish states like "Completed: 0" are disabled, when combining the options -p and -s, because counting these variables is not thread safe at the moment
  • bug: cpu count was wrongly reported when using custom number for threads
  • new setting in option: specify -m auto to determine "cd" or "dvd" format based on filesize with a 750 MB threshold (thanks AlexanderRavenheart https://github.com/thingsiplay/tochd/pull/3)
  • changed: generation and handling of temporary folders refactored, now it's using proper builtin tempfile functionality instead custom logic, currently the folders are not hidden anymore (thanks AlexanderRavenheart https://github.com/thingsiplay/tochd/pull/3)
  • changed: due to the new approach of temporary folders, the option -E will finally cause Ctrl+c to delete temporary files and folders before exiting (thanks AlexanderRavenheart https://github.com/thingsiplay/tochd/pull/3)
  • removed: option -f and --fast, because nobody actually needs it, its an artefact of early testings to quickly generate huge files
  • lot of internal code refactor for being more consistent styling and naming (thanks AlexanderRavenheart https://github.com/thingsiplay/tochd/pull/3)

I would like to donate to fund to defend emulators as they preserve the history of great games. We need to show Nintendo that we do not accept it's abuse of the court system. The goal would be to make it exorbitantly expensive for Nintendo to destroy projects with frivolous lawsuits or to seek injunction against Nintendo for abusing the court.

What do you think? What is the best donation method? How can we secure legal council with donations?
