I'm a bit confused whether I'm doing this right because every resource I google for has a different way of setting it up.

Some of them initialize the dbContext right in the test class, some do in the WebAppFactory's ConfigureServices (or is it ConfigureTestServices?).

Some do it in the IAsyncLifetime's InitializeAsync, some do it as a dependency injection and other examples just put it as a member variable in the factory.

I don't wanna code dump my project here and ask for someone to solve it but I am not sure anymore what to do. My current attempt is using an sqlite database and it is breaking when I try to run all the tests at the same time due to this.

Makes sense since they are all using the same db in this case so I tried following a guide and just letting them use the :memory: one but that one, for some reason, doesn't seem to initialize the database at all and tests fail because the database doesn't have any tables.

I also added a CollectionDefinition with an ICollectionFixture for each individual test class (one per controller so far) thinking this might cause each test to have its own separate database (or factory?) but that didn't really do anything.

I'm hoping someone experienced can probably immediately recognize what am I missing, or at the very least give me a solid resource that I could read to figure this out, but any help is appreciated.

azureedge.net dotnet CDN URLs will cease to work sometime next year after January 15th.

One of two Azure CDN providers was Edgio, which filed for bankruptcy. CDN migration is in progress.

We expect that most users will not be directly affected, however, it is critical that you validate if you are affected and to watch for downtime or other kinds of breakage.

We maintain multiple Content Delivery Network (CDN) instances for delivering .NET builds. Some end in azureedge.net. These domains are hosted by edg.io, which will soon cease operations due to bankruptcy. We are required to migrate to a new CDN and will be using new domains going forward.

Affected domains:

• dotnetcli.azureedge.net
• dotnetbuilds.azureedge.net

Unaffected domains:

• dotnet.microsoft.com
• download.visualstudio.microsoft.com

• Update dotnetcli.azureedge.net to builds.dotnet.microsoft.com
• Update dotnetcli.blob.core.windows.net to builds.dotnet.microsoft.com

We also noticed that there is a lot of use of our storage account: dotnetcli.blob.core.windows.net. Please also search for it. The storage account is unaffected, however, it would be much better for everyone if you used our new CDN. It will deliver better performance.

Earlier this year I gave this talk which is about how programmers can get the most of the Fediverse, particularly for dotnet/MAUI developers - some of the killer features which are available and how to use them. The focus of the examples are with dotnet/MAUI, but these things would undoubtedly also be available for other languages/ecosystems, I was just using dotnet/MAUI to illustrate the underlying functionality available to us here. This recording would be good for anyone who isn't familiar with these features (maybe anyone you want to convince to come here, or just if you feel you don't know everything that is available).
