All of us who have been paying attention to the news know there are six conflicts going on right now, ordered here in order of current intensity...

1. Russia VS Ukraine

2. Israel VS Palestine

3. Ethiopia VS Eritrea

4. Venezuela VS Guyana

5. China VS Taiwan

6. India VS Pakistan

One might ask anyone about the first two and it's pretty well-established at this point, but go all out and it's, well, perplexing for a lack of a better word.

How do you make sense of your perspective to all of these side-by-side?

I am intermediate in terms of learning coding and problem-solving etc. Worked with Swift a bit and I know all the fundamentals, I'm thinking Swift and the actual Xcode and Design stuff need to be learned seperatly or at once together

I love the original Hotline Miami but I'm not a big fan of the boss fights like the ones in Neighbors (Biker) and Deadline (Van Driver). I find it kind of slows down the game and limits the strategies you can take.

Another example would be Fallout 3. I find the tutorial section in Vault 101 can feel a bit long after a fifth run but maybe that's because I was spoiled by Fallout New Vegas' ability to run off in your own direction immediately after leaving Doc Mitchell's house.

I know that a lot of Garfield comics are repetitive and basic, but there are a few unironically funny ones.

Boundaries. To me, the little black sandals represent boundaries or the abillity to recognize and extricate yourself from whatever you consciously+unconsciously feel is dangerous and unsafe for you

The line where he says he'll let go only if only she explicitly asks it is the exact opposite of how it should be, where the default is no and inviting people to opt-in to that which may be triggering.

I like that tea analogy where boundaries is as simple as whether or not you'd like a cup of tea. Invite and have consent before you use it up for someone who doesn't want or cannot accept it

Here recently it seems like everything just gets under my skin so quickly and easily. It's not that I get mad and take it out on others, it's just the fact that I'm constantly annoyed and stressed. Something as simple as the dogs tracking some mud through the house will just ruin my mood. I know some people who would just laugh it off and clean it up. Meanwhile I'll get pissed that I didn't wipe their feet and be mad the entire time I'm cleaning it up. This has nothing to do with the dogs, it just an example. Any number of seemingly insignificant things can trigger me like that. Like forgetting something at the store and having to go back. I would love to be able to go, "well that sucks" and just get over it.

Here's a couple examples from my life:

1. Safety Razor. I get a better shave and it's like $15 for 100 razor blades, which lasts me a couple years. Way way way better than the disposable multi-blade Gillette things, which sell 5 heads for $20.

2. Handkerchiefs. I am prone to allergies, so instead of constantly buying disposable tissues, we now have a stack of handkerchiefs that can just be used a few times and then thrown in the wash. This has also saved me loads.

I'm specifically referring to microSD cards here, but I'm too lazy to type that every time and I doubt many people will think of full-sized ones anyway.

I got two 256GB SD cards (Samsung pro plus something) for Christmas, but I can't think of a good use for the second one.
I have a Raspberry Pi, currently with a 32 GB SD card, where I'm gonna put the first one.
My phone has 128 GB of storage, which is already enough for me.
I'm considering putting it in my Nintendo Switch, but it already has a 64GB SD card, which is enough for the 2 non-physical games we have.
I plan on getting a Steam Deck once I can afford it, but that already has a lot of storage.
I don't have a camera or drone or similar.
Selling is not an option.
A refund is technically an option, but I'd rather find a use for it.

I am thinking about making myself something delicious. Not celebrating with anyone this eve but curious what everyone else will be eating.

I am looking for a recording tool/app (preferably for Android) which would allow me to start recording a video and have that video saved to the cloud as I record it. I already have several ways to automatically upload video files to the could once the recording has ended and the file is saved to the device. I want something that will save a video in progress to the cloud as I record it.

An example use-case would be an activist filming coverage of an event where the device is accidentally destroyed or confiscated by authorities mid-stream/record. The ability to go and find what was recorded before it has to be completed, saved, and then uploaded is extremely valuable to me. The upload to cloud option is, of course, in case access the device can not be restored; I'd like to go find what was captured up until the moment of disruption from any device so long as I have the credentials.

I avoid mainstream services like YouTube and Facebook but will use them if I must, preferring FOSS, decentralized, privacy respecting, etc. options where possible.

Any suggestions are much appreciated!
