be patient, because I don't know what the right word is: I mean the visible fabric of some summer leggings where everybody clearly sees that the fabric is porous in some parts, so humidity and heat escapes.

Absolute noob here regarding leggings, Im thinking about returning my asics winter leggings due to this, unless you tell me this is a stupid idea and Im gonna need al the heat I can save during cold weather and winter.

Why does it have to always hit me so randomly? Some nights I beg my brain to stay awake past 9 and then there's nights like this where I'm wide awake for no reason

They say time is is the most valuable resources. Right now, time feels quicker for me these days and I often lose track of it.

Because of that the app should have the same purposes as an old clock, it plays a little "ding" or a notification every 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 1 hour, or as long as I like.

Preferably installable with f-droid, can I have an app recommendation.

For instance, when someone describes going to school as "traumatic," they often simply refer to it as a negative experience. This is not to say that everyone who went to school never had a traumatic experience; however, some individuals appear to overuse the term. Another example could be considering being lightly pushed into a locker as "traumatic."

With the advancements in technology, particularly AI now, what is the smartest smartphone in your opinion? And I don't mean in terms of raw power or tech specs, but rather the likes of the OS, UI, or features and functions.

I mean yeah it's obvious that it's an oportunity for making money on a new marked and so on, but, even if it's a bit silly, dreaming of VR technology like in Ready Player One(minus the distopian world) for real life it feels like the bad guys already won, when we will have the technology. Like the omni One is just about to be launched for the market and it's sold in a bundle with the pico 4, which is owned by Tik Tok. Do you get what is grinding my gears about that?

Im a male trying on several black leggings for running, stretching and cycling, I've never bought anything so tight. Im skinny built and have tried new balance, asics and adidas. My questions:

I've read some more expensive leggings have not a single, but double seam at the front side (crotch), whereas most simple leggings for men and women have just one seam in the middle. Should I return the leggings I bought and buy only the ones that have 2 seams at the front to better accommodate my manhood bits? I’ve also seen that expensive adidas leggings have just one seam at the front so, maybe I’m overthinking this?

Im not going commando or wearing sport shorts over the leggings because it doesn't have any purpose, except to drag you down when running, and look unflattering, even my boxer shorts make it look a big silly, because people notice them on my leggings, so I’m thinking about buying a thong, but I don’t know what brand to look for, if cotton would be better than polyester or if I should buy a V string or a G string.

The adidas I bought are cross high waist and are for women, however, I don’t see why I shouldn’t buy them: they sit good and aren’t too tight on the waist (seller told me leggings for women are wider on the thigh and smaller on the waist, but to me they look and sit good and the knit is softer than the other ones I bought, I like them. Am I going to regret keeping them?

Any other tips you have, welcomed.

Can I use my german passport to travel to USA or do I use my US passport?

And if I lived and worked in germany my whole life and never in the USA and never filed taxes can I enter USA without problems?

I just found out I am us citizen a few years ago don't ask why but I'm 34 and recently traveled to US with my german passport and they were all like "wtf where is your passport" and I'm like: "Here.." and they "Yeah your american passport?!" and I'm "I'm german" and he is like: "Dude you are born on american ground you are american!"

Well they let me travel in to the states without american passport but told me to go to the embassy as soon as I arrive back in germany or else I won't be able to enter USA again.

That being said, I done that. Now I have my american passport. But do I show both passports or only US passport? And after doing my research I found out americans file taxes every year. I haven't done it the last 18 years of working. Should I just not file? I will never work in the USA and I will never live in the USA. Or will I get problems at the airport? Can they see I don't file?

I saw Generative AI for Beginners from Microsoft on GitHub. I've looked at https://fmhy.pages.dev/ai but I'm not sure what I'm really looking for.

I write fiction, and I want a chatbot that will function like chat gpt3.5, but not shut down if things get bloody or sexy, as they so often do.

You know ready, aim, fire? I'm in the AIM stage.

What are some of your favorite communities that feature topics like literature, science, ecology, aerospace, technology, politics, history, arts, culture, theory, and debate?

Where do responsible, respectful adults go for discussions and for substantive, high quality posts and comments by decent human beings?

(Not just limited to academic/intellectual topics, could be anything from hobbies to defense contracts to careers to skills. Just looking for respectful, reasonably intelligent, informed, relatively engaged communities.)

Also, are forum aggregators like Lemmy and Reddit even the best places to find such communities outside of listservers, universities, and academic conferences?
